[most of the class is missing because of log on problems]
<brenda> PUT E6000 ON THE HEAD OF THUMBTACK AND STICK TO THE FLAT MARBLE
<anno> I missed a bit, life reared it's ugly head..
<anno> do we cut these things out, or punch 'em?
<groundhogs> If you glue it to marble before cutting, then what do you use to cut it?
<brenda> I USED SMALL SCISSORS LIKE EMBROIDERY SCISSORS
<anno> well..
<anno> it holds it to glass..
<anno> marbles are glass..
<groundhogs> Oh, okay
<brenda> YES ANNO
<brenda> WILL HAVE TO TRY THAT
<kristi> I was thinking of just whipping my exacto around the marble, but I don't hae embroidery scissors
<brenda> BOUGHT A ROLL OF THAT COPPER AND NEVER HAVE USED IT
<brenda> KRISTI THAT SHOULD WORK
<brenda> HEY DEB
<deb> hi bren
<kristi> I've only used the foil for real stained glass - silly me, lol!
<brenda> WELL AT LEAST YOU USED IT
<groundhogs> A friend made some magnets for me and instead of a stamped image she put tiny stickers behind the marble -- the glitzy-metallic looking stickers. Real pretty.
<brenda> YEP I BOUGHT SOME FLAG STICKERS TO DO SOME FOR MY REFRIGERATOR
<brenda> AND SOME FLOWER STICKERS TO DO AS GIFTS
<brenda> THEY HAVE LOTS OF STICKERS THAT WOULD WORK
<brenda> EVEN RUBONS FOR GLASS IF YOU CAN FIND SMALL ENOUGH IMAGES
<brenda> ANY QUESTIONS
<TheQueen> Brenda janet says she is really sorry
<brenda> QUEEN
<groundhogs> Does the magnet sheet work on the bigger size marbles, or would you have to use a heavier type magnet?
<brenda> TELL HER THAT IS OK
<brenda> I USED IT ON THE SMALL ONES
<kristi> I would use a stronger magnet on the large ones
<brenda> DONT KNOW FOR THE BIG ONES
<brenda> BUT YOU CAN GET HEAVIER MAGNETS
<anno> the ones I have that diana made me have heaver magnets on the big ones..
<brenda> OK THERE YA GO
<brenda> BUY THE HEAVIER MAGNETS
<brenda> FOR THE BIG ONES
<groundhogs> My brain will be working overtime tonight and that means no sleep......I'm thinking big size magnet in an Altoid tin would make nice gifts.
<kristi> oh yeah - great idea!
<TheQueen> cak she tried to call you back but your line is busy
<brenda> NEAT IDEA
<brenda> AND PEOPLE THINK THEY ARE NEAT
<kristi> yeah and teachers and that often have metal file cabinets they can put magnets on too!
<kristi> or their white boards!
<brenda> YEP MY DIL IS COMING TO MAKE SOME FOR GRANDKIDS TEACHERS
<kristi> thanks for teaching us Brenda!
<groundhogs> Has anyone seen the big size ones at dollar stores? I bought little ones but can't remember if I've seen big ones there.
<brenda> I GOT SOME AT BIG LOTS
<kristi> the "M" store as all 12 oz bags 2 for $5 - it's quite a number of them
<brenda> AND SOME TIMES AT WALMART
