<RubberRabb> thank you Janet
<Cinnamon will behave.
<Janet> http://cyberstampers.com/class/clear/
<LiBsTeR> Oooo I love the sunflowers
<Char> Oh Janet....I blush with pride! Thank you.
<deb> no
<deb> that's right
<stamp202> Janet, these are great samples!
<Janet> okay!
<LiBsTeR> HI Bibi
<LiBsTeR> HI Cinnamon
<Janet> SO LOOK AT THE CLASS PAGE AT http://cyberstampers.com/class/clear/
<Chele> whose grape carving is that?
<Cinnamon> Hi y'all
Chele lubs grapes
<Froggie> gg designs
<Janet> TAKE YOUR TIME, THIS IS SOOO EASY ALL OF IT, I'LL HAVE TO DO TABLE DANCES TO FILL MY 55 MINUTES :)
Chele teaches at Vintage Hills <G>
<kristi> char's fro gg designs
<Cinnamon> Janet, those samples are beautiful!!!
<Chele> thanks, Frog!!
<Chele> NICE, Char!
Froggie gets her dollars out
<Janet> THESE ARE SOO EASY
<Char> Thanks....nice Janet!
<YerPal> I'm sure Janet is the fount of all wisdom.
Chele brings in The Pole
<Janet> LOL I LOVE THAT BOT :)
<jenmist> lol
<LLB> hence the name, eh, Janet?
<YerPal> Janet is probably the fount of all wisdom.
<kristi> lol
<Janet> HE'S MYPAL :)
<Janet> CLASS PAGE?
<YerPal> I heard that CLASS PAGE is at http://cyberstampers.com/class/clear/
<Froggie> and a butt kisser
<Janet> WOOO HOO. WHADDA BOT.
<deb> lol
<RubberKin> there is no way that bot can be a bot LOL not objective enough
<LLB> OK, now I see some usefulness in yerpal
<Chele> Cute Man?
<YerPal> Hmmm. I think Man is this thing in hyper drive?
<Chele> LOL... was hoping YerPal could find me one <G>
<Froolap> froolap?
<YerPal> I'm sure froolap is the owner of YerPal. any problems or questions ask him.
<LLB> Hyperman?
<Janet> LOL. THE FUN PART OF THIS BOT IS THAT HE TAKES TRAINING. I LOVE THAT.
<Janet> SO HAS EVERYBODY SEEN THE SAMPLES?
<Chele> unlike my dog
<Chele> or my ex-
<kat> yep
<VickiNola> yes
<Froggie> yes
<Bibinavia> yup
<kristi> yep
<RubberRabb> yes
<Janet> OKAY !
<stamp202> y
<LLB> yesindeedee
<Lynn> y
<VickiNola> purty
<Janet> AND EASY!
<Janet> THE HARDEST PART IS STAMPING ON THE ACETATE
<beanjean1> very nice
<Janet> THESE ARE ALL STAMPED ON ACETATE
<LLB> what ink?
<YerPal> I heard that ink is our artistic life's blood
<LLB> which ink?
<YerPal> ink is our artistic life's blood
<Janet> I USE THE CHEAP COPIER TRANSPARENCIES AT THE OFFICE SUPPLY STORE
<Janet> LOL
kristi hasn't gotten many good impressions on acetate
Chele has to remember that she has to be good
<LLB> 213?
<Janet> MOSTLY THESE WERE DONE WITH PERMANENT RANGER INK
<Janet> YEP
<Janet> BUT THE NEW BRILLIANCE PADS ARE MARVELOUS!
<Janet> PERMANENT INK ON ACETATE, I'VE ALWAYS TENDED TO SLIDE MY STAMP AROUND
<Chele> my dd left my black brilliance open and killed it *grrrrr*
<Janet> BRILLIANCE SORT OF GRIPS
<Chele> yes, it does!
<LLB> Chele, how old is dd?
<Janet> CHELE, TIME TO BUY THE REINKERS
VickiNola loves Brilliance
<Janet> CLASS PAGE?
<YerPal> I guess CLASS PAGE is at http://cyberstampers.com/class/clear/
<yvonney> saved me again bean jean thanks
<Janet> LOVE THAT BOT
<fanny> how do you store brilliance inkpads? upside down?
<LLB> I haven't tried brilliance - who has good prices/selection?
<RubberRabb> Sparkle
<Chele> 13, LLB
<kristi> sparkle has them
<Chele> SHE'S buying me a new one
<Janet> FRANK IS HERE!
<Chele> (DD, not sparkle)
<YerPal> I heard that HERE is something to ponder. Why did you do that?
<cak> Frank!!!!
<YerPal> Someone said that Frank is known as Daddy Frank, everybody's sweetheart, probably because of his naturally curly hair.
<Janet> YERPY? CLASS PAGE?
<Frank> hi all
<Chele> tho, I could make Keegan pay sparkle <G>
<RubberRabb> I'm outta here_-that bot think is driving me nuts
<Janet> THAT BOT GOT ALL DISTRACTED OVER FRANK. CLASS PAGE IS AT http://cyberstampers.com/class/clear/
<LLB> Chele, I have a six year old that leaves her washable pads open everywhere!
<Janet> BRILLIANCE PADS, BECAUSE THEYA RE A PIGMENT INK THAT DRIES ON ANYTHING, THEY GRIP THE TRANSPARENCIES BETTER THAN PERMANENT INK
<Janet> SO THEY'RE EASIER TO STAMP WITH
<Janet> AND!!!
<cak> lol
<Frank> pads?
<Janet> THEY COME IN COLORS!
<Frank> we're not talking feminine hygene here are we?
<Janet> LOL INK PADS, FRANK
<kristi> LOL
<cak> Frank! lol
<Frank> whew
<Janet> FEMININE HYGENE IS NEXT HOUR
<Janet> <G>
Frank blushes
<deb> lol
<Janet> SO FROM THE TOP... THE CONCEPT HERE IS STAMP YOUR IMAGE ON ACETATE AND THEN DO WHAT YOU WANT TO THE BACK OF IT
<kat> class done?
<cindycBBS> too profound
<kat> lol
<Chele> LOL kat
<Janet> ONLY I USUALLY DO WHAT I WANT ON THE STAMPED SIDE SO THAT IT WON'T SCRATCH OFF
<Bibinavia> how long before brilliance dries on acetate?
<Janet> I HAVE RELATIVES WHO TRY TO SCRATCH ANYTHING I MAKE
<cindycBBS> meow
<cindycBBS> ?
<kat> lol
<Janet> NOT LONG AND YOU CAN HEAT SET IT (CAREFULLY) TO HURRY IT ALONG
<Bibinavia> k
<Chele> Janet is part feline, me thinks
<Janet> WHERE ARE THE BRILLIANCE PADS? APPALOOSA AND QUINTESSENTIALS, i KNOW THAT. ANYWHERE ELSE?
<LLB> What's good to color on the other side (or same side) besides permanent sharpies?
<Janet> http://cyberstampers.com/class/clear/
<kristi> any alcohol-based markers
<Janet> WELL, ON DOWN THE PAGE, ABOUT IN THE MIDDLE, YOU SEE THE IRIS AND THE YELLOW ROSE?
<LLB> Or is it all Brilliance all the time?
<yvonney> Michaels is carring brilliance pads now
<LLB> yes, Janet
<kristi> tria, studio 2, prismacolor
<Janet> I COLORED THOSE IN WITH ALCOHOL MARKERS AND ALCOHOL REINKERS (TRIAS)
<LLB> MIchaels???????
<YerPal> I'm sure MIchaels is carring brilliance pads now
<LRB> I bought three already
<Janet> NOW ALL OF THESE SAMPLES WERE STAMPED WITH RANGER 213
<cindycBBS> you do amaze me janet
<LRB> used my coupon
<deb> I try to buy my ink pads here in the mall
<Janet> BUT I'M SOLD ON THE BRILLIANCE PADS NOW
<deb> so we have a classroom to come to
<Janet> OH YES, SUPPORT OUR CONVENTION AND MALL VENDORS FOR SURE. SO THEY CONTINUE TO FUND OUR CHAT AND CLASSES :)
<Janet> BUT SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL STORES, TOO. SO THEY'LL BE THERE WHEN WE HAVE THE INK EMERGENCY AND NEED THAT PAD TODAY.
<deb> I save my coupon at Michaels for things I can't find here in the mall
<kaye> i am being very good and supporting the vedors this convention
<Janet> EVERYBODY DOES HAVE INK EMERGENCIES LIKE I DO, DON'T THEY?
<kristi> or higher priced items at least
<VickiNola> yes
<deb> oh yes
<kristi> I do
<Janet> OH YES, I'VE DROPPED MANY DOLLARS SO FAR.
<cindycBBS> oh yes
<RubberKin> lol yes janet
<LLB> I can't find anything at the M store - although they seem to be updating lines like this recently
<Janet> OH GOOD.
<Janet> SO LET'S START AT THE TOP OF THE SAMPLE PAGE.
<Janet> THE VERY TOP ONE, THE TIME TO STAMP WREATH THAT LOOKS LIKE STAINED GLASS?
<Bibinavia> y
<deb> I love that stap
<deb> stamp
<rabbitsmom> url please
<Janet> THAT WAS "PAINTED' ON THE BACK WITH GALLERY GLASS PAINTS THAT I DID GET AT THE HOBBY STORE HERE
<kristi> class page?
<Janet> http://cyberstampers.com/class/clear/
<YerPal> It's been said that class page is at http://cyberstampers.com/class/clear/
<rabbitsmom> thanks
<cindycBBS> lol
<Janet> THE IMAGE IS FROM TIME TO STAMP
<kristi> Janet was faster than yerpal
<Janet> WOW. THAT'S SOMETHING TO BE FASTER THAN THE BOT :)
<Janet> WITH PAINTING WITH THOSE GLASS PAINTS, START IN THE MIDDLE
<Janet> OR WELL, I START IN THE MIDDLE
<Janet> BECAUSE I DRAG MY HAND THROUGH MY PAINTING ALL THE TIME
<Janet> I START IN THE MIDDLE I CAN KEEP TURNING IT
<LLB> does the gallery glass paint take long to dry?
<kristi> are these pebeo or gallery glass??
<Janet> AND I PAINT ALL THE SAME COLORS AT THE SAME TIME
<Janet> THEY TAKE A LONG TIME TO DRY!
<Janet> THESE ARE THE CHEAP PLAID ONES
<Janet> GALLERY GLASS
<kristi> ok
<Janet> THE PEBEO LOOKS WAY COOLER, BUT I'M CHEAP
<Janet> I SPEND ALL MY INCOME ON STAMPS<G>
<deb> janet
<cak> do all the gallery glass paints dry translucent?
<deb> how did you get such a good coverage without brush marks
<kristi> good q cak
<kristi> I swear some of mine haven't
<Janet> THE EASIEST WAY TO PAINT THE SMALL AREAS IS BY PICKING UP SOME OF THAT PAINT WITH A TOOTHPICK AND STICKING IT ON THERE
<Janet> I DIDN'T USE A BRUSH
<LLB> good q deb
<Janet> I SQUIRTED THE STUFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AREA AND USED A TOOTHPICK TO SPREAD IT
<deb> really?
<Janet> AND THEY DO DRY TRANSPARENT
<Janet> AFTER LIKE 12-24 HOURS
<kristi> that mottled look is just like stained glass too
<Janet> SO PAINT IT AND SET IT ASIDE AND REMEMBER IT NEXT WEEK. THIS IS NOT IMMEDIATE GRATIFICATION
<stamp202> You did the whole thing with toothpicks?
<deb> yes
<cak> (I never quite trust 'em when they're not transparent in the bottle)
<Janet> THEY REALLY DO DRY TRANSPARENT
<Janet> AND IF YOU HATE IT, YOU CAN PEEL 'EM OFF
<cak> *you* I'll believe!
<Janet> LOL
<kristi> did you emboss that one to "hold" the colors in the areas like leading?
<Janet> THEN YOU CAN HANG IT IN THE WINDOW AS A SUNCATCHER OR WHATEVER YOU WANT
<Janet> USE A TEMPLATE TO CUT A HOLE IN A CARD AND HAVE IT SHINING THROUGH
<Janet> I DID EMBOSS THAT ONE
<rabbitsmom> liquid rainbow by Decoart dries faster
<Janet> YOU CAN EMBOSS THESE OFFICE STORE TRANSPARENCIES IF YOU'RE CAREFUL AND KEEP MOVING AROUND THE HEAT
<Janet> AND THE EMBOSSING DOES TEND TO CONTROL WHERE THE PAINT GOES LIKE THE LEADING
<Janet> IF YOU'RE REALLY WANTING A STAINED GLASS LOOK, YOU CAN GO OVER THE IMAGE LINES WITH THAT LIQUID LEADING
<Janet> I'M NOT THAT OBSESSED<G>
<cak> I wonder if a hair dryer might be better--lower heat and more air moving over the surface
<kristi> me neither
<Janet> BUT I'VE SEEN IT AND IT'S BEAUTIFUL
<deb> but a hair dryer wouldn't emboss
<cak> this is beautiful though
<Janet> MOVING ON DOWN THE PAGE...
<Janet> THE CAT FACE AND THE SUNFLOWERS
<Janet> THESE ARE BOTH FROM SECOND STAR ON THE RIGHT
<cak> no, you'd just be able to use it for the drying phase
<Janet> AND BOTH DONE THE SAME WAY
<Janet> I JUST PAINTED THEM WITH LUMIERE PAINTS
<Janet> THOSE DRY FAST!
<Janet> AND REGULAR ACRYLICS WORK WELL TOO
<Janet> YOU NEED TO THINK BEFORE PAINTING, THOUGH.
<Chele> I was hoping Lumieres were a choice
<Janet> THINK IT THROUGH
<Janet> I LOVE MY LUMIERES
<Janet> (JHONE HAS 'EM ON SALE THIS WEEK TOO)
<deb> yes and the new colors are out
<Janet> (I DID BUY EIGHT MORE COLORS)
<kristi> yes, good price
<Chele> (I tried not to look)
<deb> http://www.jhone.com/lumieres.html
<LLB> I have a bit of lumiere, and I am not sure what to do with them
<Chele> (I failed)
<kristi> and if you order rubber shiping is free!
<Janet> BUT KEEPING MY MIND OFF SHOPPING (IT'S HARD!) REGULAR ACRYLICS WILL WORK TOO
<cak> so always work foreground to background?
<kristi> send them to me LLB!
<kristi> :-)
<Janet> GAIL, STAMP ON A TRANSPARENCY AND THEN USE THEM TO PAINT WITH
<Janet> AND AGAIN, BRUSH STROKES ARE A TRICK WITH THESE, BUT A BOUNCING BRUSH WORKS WELL
<Janet> RATHER THAN STROKING, SORT OF POUNCE IT ON
<Janet> AND YES!
<Janet> WORK FOREGROUND TO BACKGROUND
<Janet> LIKE THE CAT?
<Janet> I PAINTED THOSE EYES FIRST
<VickiNola> love the cat
<Janet> WHEN THEY WERE DRY (MAYBE 10 MINUTES)
<Janet> I JUST SLAPPED THE GOLD AND BRONZE AND SUCH ON, I DIDN'T HAVE TO BE CAREFUL NOT TO GET IT IN THE EYES
<Janet> I SLAPPED IT PRETTY SOLID
<Janet> THE EYES WERE DOWN FIRST, I COULD PAINT ANYTHING ON THE BACK OF THAT AND IT WOULDN'T SHOW
<Bibinavia> sorry, what does it mean to work foreground to background?
<Janet> LIKE DO THE EYES FIRST, THEN THE REST OF THE CAT
<cak> (color the things closest to you first)
<Janet> OR WITH THE SUNFLOWERS
<Janet> I DID THE MIDDLE FIRST, THEN THE PETALS
<deb> because you are painting the back of the item
<Janet> I DID THE STEMS, THEN THE REST
<kristi> because you're painting on the back of something that is clear
<Bibinavia> oh, ok... thanks!
<Janet> USUALLY NOT ON TRANSPARENCY I PAINT THE BACKGROUND THEN PUT IN THE DETAILS
Lynn loves the sunflowers
<Janet> WITH THIS, PUT IN THE DETAILS FIRST, THEN PAINT THE LARGER AREAS
<Janet> MAKE SENSE NOW?
<Bibinavia> yup!
<Froggie> yes
<Janet> GOOD DEAL!
<Bibinavia> :o)
<Janet> THE IRIS AND THE YELLOW ROSE...
<Janet> LEA EVERSE TAUGHT ME THIS AND I LOVE IT
<Janet> IF YOU HAVE THE ALCOHOL REINKERS OR ALCOHOL MARKERS (TRIA, STUDIO, ETC.)
<Janet> YOU CAN COLOR THE BACK OF THE ACETATE WITH THOSE
<Janet> THEN PUT LEAF ON AFTER THAT
<Janet> I WAS SO CURIOUS HOW SHE'D DONE SOME OF HERS
<Janet> WHERE SHE HAD COLORED AREAS TO THE LEAF
<Janet> IN FACT, THE GRAPES DOWN BELOW I DID BEFORE I ASKED HER HOW SHE DID IT
<Janet> AND I SO METICULOUSLY SEPARATED COLORS OF LEAF AND USED THE SIZING TO DO EACH INDIVUDUAL GRAPE
<Janet> IT LOOKS MARVELOUS
<Janet> BUT THERE'S AN EASIER WAY
<Janet> COLOR YOUR THINGS WITH ALCOHOL MARKERS OR PAINT ON WITH THE REINKERS
<Janet> WHEN THAT'S DRY YOU CAN BACK IT WITH LEAFING
<Janet> THE YELLOW ROSE ISN'T LEAFING
<Janet> THAT'S ALUMINUM FOIL OUT OF THE KITCHEN
<Janet> IRIS AND ROSE AND GRAPES ARE FROM GG DESIGNS
<Janet> AND OF COURSE THAT ALPHABET IS MA VINCI'S RELIQUARY
<Janet> QUESTIONS ON THAT?
<Janet> OH AND I DO LEAFING THE LAZY LAZY WAY
<Janet> I RUN IT THROUGH THE XYRON
<Janet> THEN PUT ON THE LEAF
<Janet> ARE YOU LOST OR AM I MAKING SENSE?
<Bibinavia> smart! :o)
<Janet> YOU ALL ARE ENTIRELY TOO WELL BEHAVED<G>
<cak> perfect sense
<cindycBBS> †
<cak> have you tried stippling with paints on transparencies yet? (or am I jumping the gun?)
<Janet> OH! I DON'T HAVE A SAMPLE, BUT STIPPLED ON ACRYLICS LOOKS WONDERFUL!!
Froggie bounces around the room to please Janet
<Janet> THANKS FOR ASKING, I WOULD HAVE FORGOTTEN SINCE I DIDN'T HAVE A SAMPLE
<Bibinavia> LOL
<Janet> BUT STIPPLED ACRYLICS OR THOSE YUMMY LUMIERES THAT LOOKS SOOOOO COOL
<cak> (I think Janet, I think stippling and watercolor)
<Janet> DOING STUFF TO THE BACK OF TRANSPARENCIES IS MY NEW FAVORITE THING TO DO
<Janet> IT WORKS WITH MY VERY LIMITED STAMPING ABILITIES
<cak> (I guess I'm gonna have to add transparencies too them)
<Janet> BECAUSE IF YOU MESS IT UP ON A TRANSPARENCY, YOU CAN QUICKLY WIPE IT OFF AND TRY IT AGAIN
<Janet> AND I'M A BAD STAMPER
<Janet> I MESS UP A LOT MORE THAN I GET RIGHT THE FIRST TIME
<cak> You sure couldn't tell from these--they beautiful
<Bibinavia> welcome to the club...
<stamp202> I'm with ya there Janet
<Janet> I DIDN'T SCAN THE SCREWED UP ONES<G>
deb is president of that club
<cak> (unlike my typing and grammar)
<Bibinavia> lol
<Janet> SO I LOVE TRANSPARENCIES.
<cak> lol
<Janet> AND THEY LOOK SO COOL. PEOPLE ARE IMPRESSED.
<Janet> I LIKE IT WHEN PEOPLE GO OOOO AHHHH YOU ARE SO GOOD.
<Bibinavia> we like to impress
<cindycBBS> Janet, ooooo aaaahhhhh, you are good!
<deb> lol
<Janet> IT LOOKS LIKE SUCH AN ADVANCED TECHNIQUE. AND IT'S SO EASY IT ALL IS
<kristi> if you're gonna do leafing you can use cold laminate sheets too
<LLB> soooo good, janet!!
<YerPal> It's been said that janet is the fount of all wisdom.
<Janet> OOO CINDY YOU DO GOOD :)
<deb> lol
<cindycBBS> lol
<Janet> COLD LAMINATE SHEETS? TELL ME HOW TO DO THAT
<Bibinavia> kristi - good diea!
<Bibinavia> yes, do!
<kristi> same way, you just don't have to run it through the xyron
<LLB> so, once you have the art on the transparancies, any mounting suggestions?
<Chele> thanks for class, Janet... gonna order some of those gg carvings!
<Janet> LOTS OF MOUTNING SUGGESTIONS. :)
<Janet> CLASS PAGE?
<YerPal> I'm sure CLASS PAGE is at http://cyberstampers.com/class/clear/
<Janet> THERE YA GO, ENCHY.
<enchy> there i go?
<enchy> where?
<YerPal> I'm sure where is paper?
<Janet> THE CLASS PAGE
<enchy> oh okay
<cak> I think a shaker card would be interesting
<Janet> OH YES. SHAKER CARDS WOULD BE COOL
<Janet> THE GRAPES I JUST STUCK DOWN TO THE BACKGROUND PAPER (WHICH IS STIPPLED LUMIERE ON CARDSTOCK)
<Janet> AND THEN USED METAL TAPE TO DO THE EDGES
<Janet> LOOKS COOL. LOOKS LIKE A COPPER FRAME ON IT
<Janet> http://cyberstampers.com/class/clear/
kristi needs to remember to pick up metal tape
LLB goes back to take another look
<Janet> OR YOU CAN CUT OUT A HOLE IN YOUR CARD (TEMPLATES. EVO TEMPLATES. I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT MINE)
<Janet> THE SUNFLOWERS YOU CAN'T TELL BECAUSE I KNOCKED OUT THEIR BACKGROUND TO LOOK COOL ON THE CLASS PAGE...
<Janet> BUT I JUST MOUNTED THEM ON TOP OF BLACK PAPER (NOT EVEN CARDSTOCK)
<Janet> THEN MOUNTED THAT ONTO CARDSTOCK
<Janet> THEN FRAMED IT IN A CHEAP FRAME
<Janet> THAT NOW LIVES ON MY DAUGHTER'S MANTLE
<Bibinavia> very pretty, I love those!
<cak> She always claims good stuff
<cindycBBS> they did come out very nice
LLB goes to see if it started snowing yet
<Janet> AND HER FRIENDS GO NUTS OVER IT. AND I ALWAYS FEEL VAGUELY ASHAMED BECAUSE IT TOOK ME LESS THAN AN HOUR TO DO
<Bibinavia> almost looks like aphotograph
<Janet> IT IS REALLY BEAUTIFUL
<cak> You should feel talented! and efficient! and quiet
<Janet> ANOTHER ACETATE THING I ENJOY DOING THAT I ALSO FORGOT TO PUT ON THE CLASS PAGE IS THE GLITTER THING
<kristi> lol
<Janet> I THINK A LOT OF YOU HAVE PROBABLY DONE THAT?
<kristi> that is way kewl
<Janet> USING CLEAR GLUE AND GLITTER?
<cindycBBS> oh yea
<Bibinavia> yes
<LLB> Hmmm- this might be a nice approach to a swap or two I have joined
<Janet> OR A QUICK AND EASY GLITTER CREATION?
<kristi> and because it's on the back, it doesn's hed on people!
<stamp202> yep and how about glue and re-inkers?
<Janet> PEOPLE WILL BE IMPRESSED, GAIL. YOU DON'T HAVE TO TELL THEM HOW EASY IT IS
<Bibinavia> what about the icon looking stamp?
<cindycBBS> evo glitters......
<Janet> OH THE ICON! THAT IS A STAMP CAMP STAMP AND THAT IS JUST WITH THE AMY'S MAGIC LEAF ON THE BACK...
<yvonney> well gotta go to work thankyou for the class janet
<Lynn> glue and reinkers?
<cak> bye yvonney. come back tomorrow
<Janet> THEN I SHOVED IT INTO A BOARD THAT HAD THE BUILDING GESSO ON IT SO IT SORT OF OOOZED OUT THE SIDES
<Janet> WHEN THAT WAS DRY I PAINTED THE GESSO WITH LUMIERE
<yvonney> ill try see you all later
<Janet> ALSO THE BACK OF THE BOARD
<Janet> GLUE AND REINKERS.
<Janet> COVER THE BACK OF YOUR TRANSPARENCY WITH A DRIES CLEAR GLUE.
<Janet> AIG GLUE, THAT SORT
<Janet> THE CRYSTAL LACQUER I BOUGHT AT APPALOOSA WORKS WELL FOR THAT
<LLB> I was going to ask what would hold all the color stuff on after it dried
<kristi> future???
<Janet> I NEVER THOUGHT OF IT AS GLUE BUT I COULDN'T FIND THE AIG GLUE AND MY ORDER FROM APPALOOSA HAD JUST COME SO I TRIED IT AND IT WORKED GREAT
<kristi> like the caught in crystral??
<Janet> FUTURE FLOOR WAX IS A VERY GOOD CHOICE
<Janet> AND THE PRICE IS RIGHT
<Janet> OR A QUICK EASY GLITTER PROJECT, STAMP ON THE TRANSPARENCY...
<Janet> I LIKE LANDSCAPES FOR THIS BUT ANYTHING WORKS...
<Janet> RUN IT THROUGH THE XYRON FOR THE ADHESIVE PART...
<Janet> THEN JUST SPRINKLE THE GLITTER ON, SORT OF AIMING FOR WHERE YOU WANT YOUR COLORS
<Janet> I LIKE LANDSCAPES SO I CAN DO GLITTER SUNSETS
<Bibinavia> who's got the best price on Xyron cartridges. I used my last bit of adhesive yesterday
<Janet> THEN WHEN YOU HAVE ALL THE COLORS YOU WANT ON
<deb> not sure if anyone in the vendor mall carries them anymore
<Janet> DUMP A LOT OF THE WHITE GLITTER ON, RUN YOUR BRAYER OVER IT (I PUT A PIECE OF PAPER DOWN TOO)
<Janet> THEN IT'S DONE
<Janet> THAT'S THE FASTEST GLITTER THING I DO
<cak> fabulous
<Janet> I'M SORT OF OUT OF STEAM, ANYBODY HAVE OTHER ACETATE PROJECTS THEY LIKE TO DO?
<stamp202> glue and reinkers
<Froggie> I think you covered them all
<cak> brenda's tissue paper technique is cool
<brenda> did we talk about my favorite janet?
<YerPal> janet is the fount of all wisdom.
<Janet> TELL ABOUT THOSE PLEASE?
<brenda> cheap white glue
<kristi> gotta run
<brenda> spread over the acetate
<stamp202> place about a quarter size dollop of crystal lacquer, diamond glaze, etc.
<stamp202> onto the back of the acetate
<brenda> then take fine glitter and sprinkle very lightly over the glue
<cindycBBS> evo has the bestest glitters....
<brenda> then take cheap tissue
<brenda> crumple it good
<brenda> then sprever the glue
<stamp202> oops sorry
<brenda> that isi am sorry too
<brenda> go ahead
<Janet> KEEP GOING, BOTH OF YOU. I'M SUCKING BOTH IN :)
<brenda> lol
<Janet> (LOVE CLASSES WHERE I LEARN THE MOST)
<deb> yep she has 2 eyes
<brenda> then take cheap watercolors in the pans
<cak> lol
<stamp202> then take a few colors of reinkers and put a few drops
<deb> 1 for each of you
<brenda> take 2 or 3 colors out of the pans
<deb> roflol
<deb> tag team
<YerPal> Ok deb, team tagged
<brenda> then drop each into a small cup add a few drops of water stir to dissolve
<Janet> OKAY, SO ONE OF MY PROJECTS HAS TISSUE IN THE GLUE AND ONE HAS REINKERS DROPPED INTO IT (NO TISSUE YET)
<brenda> then splash onto the tisue randomly one color at a time
<brenda> let it rubn
<brenda> spread
<brenda> then add another color
<brenda> then if you want add another color
<brenda> then next day
<stamp202> down onto the glue and smear them with your fingers
<brenda> stamp with brilliance ink
<stamp202> not too much as you will end up with mud
<brenda> right janet
<Char> Another winner Janet.....and thanks CAK for your IRCLE tutorial!
<Janet> OOOO AND WATERCOLOR ON THE TISSUED ONE THEN WHEN IT'S DRY STAMP IT. THE OTHER ONE WITH THE GLUE AND THE REINKERS (ALREADY STAMPED) I'M PLAYING WITH MY REINKERS IN THE GLUE WITH MY FINGERS
<stamp202> then crumble a piece tissue paper and press it onto the glue
<Char> Whoops, sorry.
<Froggie> brb
<stamp202> Yep, stamp your image and work on the back
<stamp202> let dry and trim tissue to the size of the acetate
<Janet> OKAY! THEN WHEN I'VE GOT MY REINKER DROPS SWIRLED LIKE I LIKE, PUT TISSUE ON THE BACK!
<stamp202> done! I like to use it with those big Judi-Kins face stamps
<Janet> BRENDA, ON YOURS DO I STAMP ON THE WATERCOLORED TISSUE OR ON THE OTHER SIDE?
<brenda> on the side opposite of tissue
<Janet> GOT IT!
<Janet> GOT 'EM BOTH!
<brenda> yippie
<stamp202> wow, Janet, you're good
<Bibinavia> JANET - thanks so much for the class, this was really great! have to go to bed, but will play with acetate tomorrow (actually, it's already tomorrow here in Norway...LOL) Bye, y'all! And thanks!!!
<Janet> AND THE SECOND STAR CAUGHT IN CRYSTAL IS ON THEIR WEB SITE UNDER TUTORIALS
<Janet> THAT'S THE ONE WITH THE FUTURE FLOOR WAX
<cak> Night Bibinavia--
<kaye> night bibi
<Lynn> thank you Janet and brenda and Stamp202
<Janet> AND ALL OF THESE TECHNIQUES WORK WITH THE CLEARLY TREASURES LUCITE SHAPES THAT APPALOOSA TAUGHT THE OTHER NIGHT (AND ALL THEY TAUGHT WILL WORK WITH TRANSPARENCIES)
<stamp202> yw
<Janet> THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING HERE! ANY QUESTIONS ?
deb ordered her clearly treasures already!
<Bibinavia> night night, natti natt. Bibi has left the building
<RubberHund> Thanks, Janet. Great class
<Char> Will somebody put samples of the steriophonic technic up somewhere? The right side of my brain is warring with the left side.....and both sides are getting sleepy. Thanks for a fun time.
