<KristyTTS> hello
<Jambalaya> hi kristy!
<KristyTTS> hi there
<KristyTTS> We are waiting to see if there is a URL with the samples with the mystery stamp
<photoelf2> ok
<KristyTTS> hmmmm...I am really wondering if the samples are up somewhere :)
<KristyTTS> The mystery stamp is such a nice stamp
<KristyTTS> Did you get yours Bibi?
<KristyTTS> I hope it got there
<Bibi> I sure did..... ;)
<KristyTTS> oh yay
<Bibi> made two cards for tonite
<KristyTTS> cool
<KristyTTS> did you scan them and send them to janet?
<Bibi> yes
<Bibi> but a bit late.... (like 20 mins ago..LOL)
<Vincentia> I got my stamp but I just returned to work fulltime and 2 kids had book reports due this week so nothing got done with mine :(
<KristyTTS> oh darn, Vicentia!
<KristyTTS> But I can relate, trust me LOL
<Judy> sent mine to Janet about 1 1/2 hrs ago
<Vincentia> but I wanted to see what everyone else did ;)
<cak> If you just want me to toss images up onto a webpage, you can email them to me at cak@dm.net and I can paste 'em in
<Star> I am lost...tell me how the mystery stamp works. Do I just buy it sight unseen and make a design and send it in?
<KristyTTS> okay, everyone got that?
<KristyTTS> Star, yep :)
<KristyTTS> You buy it before the last tuesday of the mo. and scan it to be put on a page
<KristyTTS> to reveal the stamp
<Star> oh, don't send it in, just scan and send to whom? where do you buy it?
<cak> it's really wonderful to see how everyone uses the same stamp in so many different ways
<pmstamper> who is this mystery stamp nite's vendor?
<KristyTTS> Time To Stamp is the vendor this month :)
<cak> Yay!
<Judy> cak - sent mine
<cak> I'll start checking my email now!
<KristyTTS> cak, I just sent you a scan someone had sent me
<April> hello
<KristyTTS> hi april
<April> how are ya?
<Star> how can people be sending scans if we just now find out the mystery stamp?
<Star> Jam, help me out here....you always explain everything to me
<Judy> Star - we bought it a couple weeks ago
<April> because they already had it, and did something with it
<Jambalaya> ok star
<KristyTTS> well, they order it ahead of time
<Jambalaya> you would have had to get it before this
<Judy> it is being revealed tonight to everyone that didn't get one
<Jambalaya> the mystery stamp is on sale all month
<Judy> and we are revealing what we did with it
<Scout> who is going to be next month's, so we can get a head start?
<Star> ok...and those folks bought it as soon as they saw the advertisement, right?
<Jambalaya> then the projects are revealed on the last tuesday of every month
<Jambalaya> right
<Jambalaya> i'm going to check who next months is, i'll let you know at end of this hour
<KristyTTS> yep......its updated every month on the vendor mall page too
<Scout> great, Jam
* Judy is going to be revealed as a lousy stamper, but that's the way it goes
<KristyTTS> oh no Judy, I am sure you are not a lousy stamper!
<KristyTTS> I had meant to do something too.....but with the baby going into the hospital, I was never able to :(
<KristyTTS> boo hoo
<KristyTTS> oh well
<KristyTTS> brb
<Star> I think that sounds fun if I wouldn't spaz over it and make forty cards trying to make the "perfect" one
<Judy> last month's was by Bear Rubber - an eye
<Star> too sleepy, girls, catch you tomorrow night....sweet stamping
<cak> http://www.dm.net/~cak/octmyst.html is the webpage. Keep sending them!
<KristyTTS> I didn't do that card........Rose Caudel did :)
<Scout> Oh, that would go good with my dress collection
<KristyTTS> sorry, I thought I had put that in there LOL
<KristyTTS> like I said, I have not slept since like last wed
<cak> oops, sorry! I'm sure you did--I just didn't look!
<cak> I'll change it, brb
<KristyTTS> Judy -is that watercolored?
<Judy> no, Kristy, it's not!
<Judy> tried to use Pearl Ex watercolors - didn't turn out well
<KristyTTS> how did you do that? The dress is colored so nice
<Scout> Yah, Judy, such a lousy stamper you are! vbg
<Judy> I stamped the stamp on some colored paper I had
<KristyTTS> Its very pretty!
<Judy> then cut out the dress portion and glued it on another image
<KristyTTS> Bibi-did you send cak the scans?
<Judy> so it's a fake
<Bibi> no, I didnt
<Jambalaya> bibi has hers on a site
<Bibi> brb
<KristyTTS> where is it?
<pmstamper> that's not faking it at all. That is ingenuity.
<KristyTTS> I wanna see it :)
<Bibi> ok
<cak> I love that coloring Judy
<Bibi> Kristy, want me to show it now? I have two
<KristyTTS> sure!
<Bibi> yeahl, very pretty, Judy!
<Judy> ty, cak
<Judy> ty, Bibi
<Judy> just did the card a couple hours ago
<Bibi> sure looks watercoloed
<Judy> the paper looked like watercolor
<cak> man, you sure work well under pressure
<KristyTTS> Bibi, I thought it was watercolored too :)
<Judy> was too distracted by fires and TV about fires to do it sooner
<jenmist> pretty samples
<jenmist> I was distracted by DD getting home from football playoff game
<Bibi> ready for a new one?
<Bibi> http://www.dm.net/~bibi/tttmystery1.jpg
<jenmist> we won!!!!! 42-6
<cak> duh, I just noticed the layer behind the periwinkle layer (same paper)
<Judy> wow, bibi, nice card!
<Bibi> ty
<jenmist> cool idea bibi
<Judy> congrats, jenmist
<vickibear> That is a beautiful card
<jenmist> I guess I shoulda ordered that stamp Kristy!!!
<cak> Lovely! Bibi
<jenmist> TY
<MsProfAFK> very lovely! I like it!
<vickibear> I love that image
<Bibi> ty, all
<KristyTTS> I love both of them Bibi!
<jenmist> Ash is so excited, we have been ranked #1 in state all season
<vickibear> they are all great cards
<KristyTTS> they are gorgeous
<cak> it's such a versatile image--it can go elegant or homey or lots of other directions
<Bibi> here's another: http://www.dm.net/~bibi/tttmystery2.jpg
<Bibi> yep!
<KristyTTS> the second one is so feminine :)
<KristyTTS> I like that alot
<Bibi> thanks..
<Scout> Love the colors in the yellow one
<cak> how did you color those Bibi?
<KristyTTS> That is why I picked that stamp...I wanted something versatile
<Bibi> I'm a very brown person myself... lol
<cak> (very subtle)
<KristyTTS> Its kind of appealing to anyone
<Bibi> that's watercolors
<KristyTTS> its just so elegant
<Judy> real ones
<Bibi> the Peerless ones that I just bought from Stubby
<cak> is this one of the first things you did with them?
<Bibi> had to use LOTS of water, they are so "strong"
<cak> lol
<Bibi> yes, second thing I made with them
<KristyTTS> I would like to get some of those peerless
<Bibi> first was Janet's wet on wet, prinkle salt thingie
<Bibi> they are awesome
<Tarotmama> do the peerless mix well, bibi?
<Bibi> very well
<cak> the coloring really emphasizes the "dimensionality" of the stamp
<Bibi> ty, I was aiming for that... lol
<cak> you certainly hit it
<Bibi> thanks
<Judy> Bibi, did you use watercolor paper?
<Bibi> the shading on the stamp helps, too. made it easy to see where to add more color
<Bibi> yes, I did
<Bibi> but dont ask me what kind, coz I hve NO idea.
<cak> I could see using this stamp as the cover of a little hand-made sewing kit
<Tarotmama> what kind of paper, what weight?
<Tarotmama> oops
<Bibi> heh
<Judy> I tried the Pearl Ex on regular cardstock and it buckled
<Bibi> lol
<KristyTTS> do those peerless last a long time?
<cak> I think I remember Janet saying that cardstock is about 80 to 90 lb
<Judy> need some hot press watercolor paper so it would be a smooth surface to stamp on
<Bibi> Kristy, Janet ses the peerless last forever. I just got mine...
<Jambalaya> i've had my peerless set for at least 2 yrs, maybe 3, and i use them a lot
<Judy> Jam - did you get the stamp?
<KristyTTS> I should break down and get them
<Jambalaya> no judy, i was nutz all month
<Judy> yeah, you've done a lot of other things
<cak> Kristy, did Rose have anything she wanted to say about her card?
<KristyTTS> nope.....LOL
<Judy> Bibi, the little dress on your brown card - is that just paper?
<pmstamper> Kristy, you said Rose did the card, do you happen to know where she got that saying?
<KristyTTS> she just wanted to share it with me so I told her I would pass the scan along to Janet, which I did and she confirmed she got it the other day :)
<KristyTTS> she didn't say where she had gotten it....I may be able to find out though
<Bibi> the tag dress? yeah, same cardstock as I used ont he card
<pmstamper> It is a sweet sentiment to use with old fashioned items like that dress.
<Judy> neat idea!
<jenmist> that is a great saying
<Scout> like the idea of the giant shoe and the dress. Really cute.
<cak> You know, this stamp looks big enough to use with shrink plastic and still have a good size charm
<jenmist> oooh yeah
<Bibi> ooooooh, that would be cool!
<Judy> where were you this afternoon, cak? Could have used that idea
<cak> lol
<cak> that's just me, too little too late!
<KristyTTS> cak, I think so....it would make a great charm
<cak> (oh, and make someone else try it)
<Judy> I still have a frog I've got to shrink first
<cindyc> send me the stamp i will try it...... lol
<Scout> Yes, Kristy, send me a size 12
<cindyc> lovely stuff
<cak> Judy, that necklace pendant--what is that. It looks 3D
<Judy> it's a green rhinestone, cak - doesn't show up that well
<Judy> used Super glue on it - almost got my fingers!
<cak> lol! then we'd get to see your crafty fingers in the scan too
<KristyTTS> LOl Scout
<Judy> wouldn't that have been a lovely scan?
<KristyTTS> sorry to have to cut this short But I hafta go :(
<jenmist> take care
<jenmist> you try and rest too
<cak> Thank you Kristy! Great stamp--and thanks to Bibi, Judy and Rose. Very cool treatments
