Jambalaya> I KNOW CROSSOVER PRODUCTS IS A BROAD TERM
<Phyl> but sounds interesting
<Jambalaya> AND IT COULD LEAD TO A LOT OF TOPICS
<Monica> WHat are the products crossing over?
<Phyl> nicely said Monica
<Phyl> lol
<Jambalaya> THERE ARE NO STAMPING STORES IN NEW ORLEANS WHERE I LIVE
<Monica> I thought sooo
<Scout> It may be a "broad term" but we are all here for our cyberstampers
"fix"
<Jambalaya> BUT SOMEHOW, I DON'T HAVE ANY TROUBLE FINDING STUFF TO PLAY
WITH<G>
<Phyl> and we are just a bunch of b----s
<Monica> Am I normal again? No wise cracks!

<Monica> I get old books at estate sales too
<stampverb> I shop at small restaurant supply stores--the places where your local mom-and-pop deli shops--I get those little sauce containers 100 at a time, coffee stirrers by the gross, and the best of all, "patty papers" for clay work
<Monica> usually giving them away

<Monica> Yep, goto the little Cafe at the front of the store.... you have to ask for them
<Jambalaya> FOR CLAY AND UTEE PROJECTS
<stampverb> ah, I do not shop at Sams or Costco, so the restaurant supply places are where I go
<Scout> After reading all this, I wonder "do all their houses look as cluttered as mine?"
<stampngrl> and what are the little plastic cups for?
<Monica> Soemtimes they will look at you with no cluie, but there should be a price listing up above the counter for them
<MomCat> SMART AND FINAL AND OTHER RESTUARANT SUPPLY STORES HAVE PIZZA BOXES
<Jambalaya> SCOUT, GOOD TO KNOW YOU ARE NORMAL, YES?
<Monica> I use the little cups for store ep, or beads, or anything in
<Scout> My husband now makes me open all the mail envelopes, so they don't get ripped, looking for how they are lined.
<stampverb> Jam, I find the bakers papers (5 inches by 8 inches) and the Patty Papers handier than big rolls of parchment
<Jambalaya> OR WE'RE ALL NUTZ, EITHER WAY
<Scout> He hasn't figured out yet how to open them without ripping.
<stampngrl> ty
<stampngrl> I've put ep in the leftover film canisters, too

<pyromomma> fishing net, what a great idea
<Teri> ya got me there verb
<Jambalaya> UUUHHHH I DON'T REALLY FEATHERS THAT HAVEN'T BEEN COMMERCIALLY CLEANED
<MomCat> AND THE NETS FROM VEGGIES AND FRUIT
<stampverb> sorry, I wandered too far over to clay-land
<Scout> My sis in law sends me blue feathers from her macaw. But you must be careful with feathers as quite a few birds have mites. If there is no birds in sight, guess who gets bit?
<Bibi> and the nets that fruits and veggies sometimes come in
<pyromomma> could also brayer it and ink the pattern on
<Jambalaya> AND THERE ARE SOME FEATHERS IT'S ACTUALLY ILLEGAL TO OWN
<Jambalaya> SO WATCH IT WITH FEATHERS
<Teri> like eagle feathers
<Phyl> wonder if road runner feathers are illegal
<pyromomma> actually feather mites only bite feathers. and if you freese them it kills them
<Judy> lol
<MomCat> PUT THE MACAW FEATHERS IN A ZIP LOCK BAGGY WITH A FLEA COLLAR FOR A FEW DAYS
<Jambalaya> YA BUT THEN YOU GOT DEAD MITE BODDIES IN YOUR ART, ICK
<stampngrl> lol
<Phyl> new look jam
<Bibi> I use horse tails...
<Phyl> dead mite technique
<Phyl> poor horse
<Scout> for two years in a row, mourning doves nested in a planter right outside my kitchen window. When they left, both years Dick and I went through weeks of biting until we figured out where it came from.
<Teri> that would be a new class!!!
<Bibi> naw, it grows back out
<Phyl> awww
<pyromomma> used a lovely red netting for Vaentines this year from Clementine orages at Xmas
<Sari> I too used horse tail hair, but I had to shampoo it first lol
<Bibi> yes, better....*S*
<Phyl> how about cat hair any use for that i have it in abundance
<Scout> Pine needles all under my big pine tree. Have used them for pine needle baskets, but also on cards.
<pyromomma> too much here
<Bibi> lol
