<Vyx> Hiya Janet

<BlackCats> hi janet

<Jambalaya> janet!!!

<Janet> howdy!

<Janet> vicki!!!

<fab> Hi janet

<joy> long time no see Janet

<evo> talking about OLD ... Heyyyyyy, Janet!

<BlackCats> lol

<Jambalaya> rofl

<Janet> LOL evo

<Janet> I found my mystery packet!

<evo> found it????????

<evo> lol

<Janet> (which will break through my stampers block for sure)

<BlackCats> wow

<Jambalaya> oh ya, my mystery packet came today, Evo is fast!

<joy> good too

<fab> Mine has been here about a week

<evo> Janet was one of the first to order ...

* Vyx probably shouldn't mention that she's had her mystery packet for a week and is still just looking at it.

<fab> I've already played with it

<Jambalaya> i only ordered it Friday<g>

<evo> Iron that sucker, Vyx!

<Vyx> I keep dreaming about it, tho, Evo, so something should come outta that.

<BlackCats> I need to go buy an iron...never thought I'd say that, lol

<Jambalaya> lol

<fab> Evo, did we all get different images?

<Vyx> rotflmao!

<Janet> well, I got mine a while back, but didn't open it right away, then lost it on my desk

<Janet> I had to ask Mike where our iron was.

<Vyx> yah, I pre-ordered I believe, lol

<evo> If we don't see a "mega" web page from all your works, your in big trouble

<cak> you tell 'em evo

<evo> Er, um ... why do you ask that, fab?

<Janet> LOL

<Vyx> Oh oh... I just had a mega idea.

<fab> Because of what you said last month

<Jambalaya> janet??

<Jambalaya> it's at the hotel

<Jambalaya> bwahahahahaha

<evo> Yep, Fab ... different images and different fusible fibers

<Janet> my two images don't "go" together. this is a stampers block challenge!

* evo sez she's gotta be different

<Janet> LOL at the hotel.

<Vyx> I'm gonna be way different if I can pull this off.

<evo> what two images did you get, Janet?

<Janet> a really nice leaf and the goldfish

<fab> me too

<evo> awrite!!!!!!!!

<joy> not me

<Janet> so is it kosher to make two different creations?

<Vyx> I got a frog that I might have already but can't get to...

<Jambalaya> we all got diff colors too??

<fab> always

<evo> you stamp the goldfish(s)then stamp leaves above ...

<evo> fish in a leafy pool, Janet

<Vyx> I dunno, should I tell you what my brainstorm was just now?

<BlackCats> cindy!

<evo> Heyyyyyyy, CC

<BlackCats> hi

<fab> sure

<CindyC> hi yall

<Vyx> hiya cindy

<Jambalaya> hi cindy

<evo> Yep, Vyx.... GO for it

<Janet> I love the goldfish, I do have it but it will make a nice present for someone else. AFTER I do my mystery project, I don't wanna have to actually FIND something I already own

<cak> I just saw a thing on Carol D using blue vellum to cover an underwater scene

<Janet> heya Cindy

<Vyx> I have that sack full of gourds I grew last year... very timely, eh, with all the gourd art...

<Vyx> How about a panorama gourd?

<Janet> ooooo do it!

<CindyC> i would love some gourds to play with

<Vyx> I can make a lil pop up scene inside the gourd, would be way cool.

<evo> Vyx! Great idea

<joy> gee are they hard to grow?

<Vyx> Joy, very very easy.

<Janet> gourds are easy, at least here

<Jambalaya> vyx has a green thumb

<BlackCats> not if you have the room for them joy

<Janet> as long as you remember to water every now and then

<Vyx> They need lots of sun and plenty of water.

<evo> Yep, Gourds are hard, Joy

<BlackCats> and room

<joy> hmmmm

<evo> but maybe not hard to grow

<joy> I may have to try that

<Janet> I just planted some on the wee lattace fence I stuck in front of my new strawberry patch to keep the kids from riding their bikes through it

<Vyx> I've had to throw away a lot because they got eaten by mildew, but I still have a big garbage bag full.

<Vyx> Oh, and they need a long growing season if at all possible.

<Janet> see and I don't have that mildew problem<g>

<evo> Oh, Janet ... be that way! Spoil the kids' fun

<fab> I did try out a brayer idea that some here shared

<Janet> LOL

<Vyx> Yeah, that constant wind. I got ahead of the game and picked all mine instead of letting them dry on the vine.

<CindyC> i thought they were supposed to get mildewed durring the drying process?

<cak> share fab!

<fab> I wanted a more pastel look than I was getting

<Janet> (pepper is in beeeeeg trouble with Mike, he pushed his chair to the shelf Mike had put his wallet on)

<Vyx> Cindy, they do, but sometimes they get rotten also. I kept dipping mine in bleach solution...

<BlackCats> who here has trouble with stamper's block?

<Janet> I do!

<joy> me

<CindyC> oh ok †

<fab> So I inked it up and brayered the first piece. Then misted with a fine spray

<Janet> or well, I did. Until I opened my mystery packet

<Jambalaya> i think everyone does sometimes, yes?

<BlackCats> yep, without a doubt

<cak> Me!

<fab> brayered a second piece

<evo> I always, all my life ... have had "somekinda" block

<cak> you misted the brayer fab?

<fab> Misted again and got a third lighter one.

<Jambalaya> lol, evo, not blockhead, stampers block<g>

<joy> lol

<fab> Yes, with a very fine mist

<Janet> fab this sounds, well, FAB

<Vyx> Oooh, this does sound very fine!

<evo> this subject intrigued me ... 'cause I had an art teacher once here in Atlanta in the 70's say...

<Jambalaya> ohhh cool fab

<BlackCats> you'll have to come show us on Thursday, fab

<joy> oh yes, make something for Thurs

<fab> Can't this Thursday. I'll be away from this computer

<CindyC> say waht evo?

<fab> by about 160 miles

<Janet> I have something to show off anyway!

<cak> so you got at least 3 brayerings from from one inking?? cool. did you ever get the pastel look you were going for?

<evo> "When you get an art block and keep banging your head against that block ... it means you're ready for a break-thru"

<BlackCats> lol

<CindyC> hardy har har

<CindyC> grin

<Janet> LOL I like that!

<CindyC> i knew you needed a straight man... g

<fab> Yes, I finally got the results I wanted without buying more pads.

<joy> or a headache

<BlackCats> yeah, me too

<evo> After a block ... a break thru always comes inspiring new "stuff"

* Vyx karate kicks that dang stamping block tonight with panorama gourd

<BlackCats> so how do y'all get over stamper's block?

<cak> cool. thanks for sharing fab. I hope you can show us sometime

<fab> I brayered on by

<CindyC> by playing or taking a break and then coming back

<Janet> Monica, seems like when it's really bad for me, I need a deadline and an assignment

<Jambalaya> ok, my best method of beating the block is committing to do a class

<fab> I'm planning to use them for my mystery project

<BlackCats> lol, yeah, that'll do it

<Janet> yes, like committing to do a class. exactly.

<CindyC> yea what jam said too... lol

<cak> no pressure for you Jamba, eh?

<evo> lol, Jam...

<evo> go for it!

<Janet> it takes pressure to break through my blocks

<BlackCats> or having a swap become nearly past due

<pmstamper> does procrastination count as blocking? lol

<fab> Maybe that is why I avoid swaps

<BlackCats> but sometimes when I'm stuck I'll start pawing thru my files of cullings from magazines

<Jambalaya> the first step then is to clear away other projects, so i have some space for i need to work on

<CindyC> due dates are always great motivation

<Janet> the mystery stamp deal we do has been the best for my blocks. at least once a month I've got to create something

<evo> Sometimes the breakage of the block takes only a tiny suggestion of inspiration

<Vyx> I'm proud to say that I've never been late on a swap. Unless it was an open swap and I was months late, lol.

<Jambalaya> yes pat procrastination is the symptom of stampers block

<BlackCats> yep

<joy> I get an idea and then it keeps morphing and seems like I just keep going off on other ideas and never getting done

<CindyC> oh yea jam, another source to undo block! making a little space... works every time... lol

<cak> I'd agree, and a fabulous source of guilt! (2 for 1)

<Janet> some of us have procrastination skills on level with an art form, ya know?

<Janet> LOL cak.

<Janet> I'm with ya there

<BlackCats> yes, lol

<evo> Two weeks ago I had a stamper order on the phone then say ... "You know what I really need and want you to make?"

<fab> I tend to go shopping and buy more stuff

<CindyC> janet, are you speaking from experience again? <G>

<Janet> oh yeah!

<Janet> Verb!

<BlackCats> hi verb

<pmstamper> I need to stamp myself a procrastinators crown to wear for next chat.

<cak> something we all need evo????

<Stampverb> hi

<CindyC> muse juice?

<fab> hi verb

<evo> I asked "whut" ... and when she told me ... "Voila!" My new product "break thru"

<Janet> Pat, trust me, you'll wait until an hour before class to start it.<g>

<BlackCats> any other ideas for breaking stamper's block?

<evo> Yes, CAK

<cak> lol

<pmstamper> lol, janet, too true.

<CindyC> and it was evo? you tease

<evo> :}>

<fab> So evo, what is it

<cak> make it cheap please evo and I need it now

<CindyC> lol love it cak

<fab> yesterday

<Janet> canadian club as muse juice?

<evo> Evo's Perfect Layering Tool for the "Anal Layer".

* CindyC probably needed it for the last convention

<cak> lol

<CindyC> prep h?

<evo> The one that hates "eyeballing" and hates crooked layers

* CindyC calls that her genesis but don't tell... g

<cak> how about understanding the difference between perfect and good enough to break through?

<evo> $9.50, CAK ... cheap enough?

<BlackCats> exactly, cak!

<Vyx> I don't want nuffing to do with an anal layer.

<cak> I'll take 2--I know I'll lose one

<fab> only if I can use it easily

<BlackCats> too many of us get stuck trying for perfect

<Janet> I think I need an anal layer

<CindyC> lol cak

<evo> lol, Cak

<CindyC> perfection? not me

<Janet> good thought, cak. put me down for two, too, evo

<CindyC> i gave that up when i left my MI church

<evo> Actually? We have some Beta Testers here tonite, but they don't have one yet

<BlackCats> do you eventually reach a point of 'good enough' or do y'all just stay stuck?

<evo> But they will, soon

<BetaJan> i hope hope hope

<joy> stuck

<CindyC> lol

<evo> LOL, too late Janet!

<BlackCats> oh, no, joy

* Janet is a champion begger

<BlackCats> really?

<Jambalaya> quit begging janet

<evo> That happened lasst week

* CindyC thinks she missed out on this one

<Janet> never quit begging, that's one of my bestest skills

<BlackCats> how do you finally get past being stuck, joy?

<CindyC> but looks forward to seeing the beta results

<Jambalaya> see what y'all get for not hanging out in chat??

<cak> BC, I usually stay stuck unless I have to send it off (not very often)

<fab> I have a whole group here who could test it together

<Janet> not my fault, I been surgicalized

<joy> I guess I just keep working til I am satisfied or give up

<CindyC> and my life has been dramatized

<cak> but I'd like to lower the bar for my work

<evo> Actually, Fab? It doesn't really need testing ... I've tested and tested my prototype

<evo> and ... I LUV it!

<BlackCats> do you ever set it aside and start something else hoping that when you get back to it the original idea will work?

<Jambalaya> i have a couple of tricks that get me started

<evo> And ... I'm not even Anal! :}>

<Janet> I have a question, if this is just me or do other people have it too?

<BlackCats> tell, jam!

<fab> Yes, actually, I have a group meeting here every Wednesday

<Jambalaya> one is to just start stamping, on trash paper

<CindyC> bc, i rarely work with ideas. i just tend to pick something up that i need to teach and go with the flow

<Jambalaya> then cut out the images roughly and start playing with them

<BlackCats> so basically you just start playing with certain stamps and products, cindy?

<joy> yup, too much thinking, that's a problem for me

<CindyC> yes bc

<Stampverb> Sorry I was late--are y'all talking about being blocked for lack of ideas, or have the idea and can't sit down and DO it?

<BlackCats> yes, that can cause a lot of problems, joy

<Jambalaya> right joy, thinking can stop ya dead

<CindyC> and they usually tend to lead me somewhere. if they don't then i know i need to let it go for now

<Janet> Verb. Yes.<g>

<Stampverb> lol

<CindyC> hi ya verb

<joy> I like that Cindy, let go for now

<Vyx> Verb, yeah, alla that

<BlackCats> yep, that's a good idea cindy

<Jambalaya> another trick is to pull out some cardstock and start matching it up

<BlackCats> do y'all have any sources of inspiration you turn to?

<fab> Sometimes I have to force myself to focus on the things I need done first

<evo> What I've found? If I'm hung up on a work of art ... I do put it aside ... put it in a place I would least expect to see it ... then when I do see it, I see it with new eyes.

<Janet> I love to look through galleries

<CindyC> on jams suggestion of stamping on scrap paper and playing... is to stamp images on transparency and play. you can lay them over backgrounds etc until an idea forms and reuse them over and over

<BlackCats> good idea, evo

<joy> another good idea Cindy!

<Jambalaya> good idea cindy

<BlackCats> ooooh, good tip cindy

<CindyC> ty lol

<Janet> Jams? anymore tips?

<cak> how about stealing an idea from Flylady and work on it for 15 minutes ONLY, no more no less. Both some pressure but an easily accomplished time

<Janet> (when you've finished sharing alla your wisdom, I've got a problem to lay at y'all's feet)

<evo> Yes, Cak!!!

<BlackCats> when I'm stuck I just start pulling things out and moving them around til an idea emerges

<evo> I like that

<CindyC> it takes me longer than that to make a couple inches of space giggle

<Jambalaya> well, sometimes you just have to say to yourself, ok, stop trying to think this out, and let the stamp tell you what it needs

<BlackCats> lol cindy

<fab> I like that one Jam

<evo> Janet? If your problem is named Nixon... lay it away from my feet, K?

<BlackCats> right...overthinking just stalls ya bad

<fab> Let the stamps talk

<joy> sometimes I can go to thinking so much I am afraid to start for fear it won't be right

<Janet> I have a problem with an overachiever self-defeating muse.

<evo> k

<BlackCats> uh huh

<Janet> Nixon's dead, we don't need to keep kicking him anymore.<g>

<Jambalaya> perfectionism is detrimental to art

<evo> lol

<BlackCats> we all get stuck on perfectionism from time to time

<cak> (discouraged perfectionism at it's finest Janet)

<Janet> See? I start to think of how to make a project...

<CindyC> i got over that as a teen joy, when i kept picturing the perfect outfits and couldn't then find them in the stores anywhere. conclusion, no one has my taste

<fab> Sometimes the other materials speak too, not just the stamps

<Janet> and I start getting ideas, and ideas on top of ideas...

<Jambalaya> true fab

<evo> yep, I know the disease, Janet, I have that virus too

<Janet> and before I ever lay stamp to paper I've got such a complex project designed in my head I don't start cuz I know I'll never get it right.

<Jambalaya> pull out stuffs, fibers ribbons, ink pads, stamps, and hope it will trigger something

<fab> Sometimes I start with leftover pieces of earlier things

<CindyC> and let's not forget a huge source of inspiration... it is right in front of your face...

<Janet> the too many ideas problem

<BlackCats> yep, talking to other stampers

<CindyC> brainstorming with other artists

<joy> ok Janet! SOmeone finally nailed it

<Jambalaya> very true

<CindyC> good one fab

<BlackCats> sometime if you're stuck just talking about it will unblock your creativity

<evo> Yes, Janet ... I'm cursed with the too many ideas paralysis, too

<Janet> this is way more of a problem than no ideas

<Jambalaya> oooo if i have several ideas, i write them all down

<Janet> I never run outta ideas.

<CindyC> you think?

<fab> Sometimes too many ideas

<Janet> but I get just paralyzed with them

<CindyC> i would rather have too many than not enough

<Vyx> yeah but talking here gave me a brainstorm and we'd hardly even begun.

<Jambalaya> and i tell ya what, written out, one will always stand out

<BlackCats> uh huh, keeping some kind of art journal for ideas is a good idea

<joy> ya you keep getting ideas and you can't nail anything down eventually and just give up

<fab> Haven't we all bought materials for projects and not done them?

<CindyC> usually the one with the stuffs to do it close at hand

<evo> But too many ideas is also a "blockage", too, you know

<Janet> Fab, always.

* CindyC thinks yall prob. realize what a huge mess my studio is by now... lol

<Janet> mine is definitely a blockage.

<evo> Janet? What I've found is...

<CindyC> what i hate most is when i get great ideas and they don't work

<evo> zero in on one idea and tell the rest to take a rest

<Janet> and the only thing that seems to break through it is a deadline where I have to stop planning and actually produce

<CindyC> grrrrrrrrrr.... i value my inner eye and it fails me now and then... g

<BlackCats> oh, that's really discouraging cindy

<fab> Cindy, we have to accept those and move on

<pmstamper> cindyc is it that they don't work, or that it doesn't look like what you envisioned?

<CindyC> yup keeps us humble eh?

<Janet> or think of cool next steps to take your failures into

<CindyC> don't work

<BlackCats> yep, and maybe learn what went wrong with such a good idea

<CindyC> true janet

<Stampverb> like that seductive new technique in the latest magazine?

<CindyC> sometimes they are a catalist for new ideas though

<Stampverb> maybe... "Crisco Resist"

<BlackCats> yep, you figure out different ways to do things that way too

<Janet> like when I warped my THANG. initially that was a failure, but then it became the birth of new cool 3-D thang art

<fab> Magazines can be a source of ideas to get you started

<CindyC> crisco resist? lol

<CindyC> i am on a diet that sounds like that..... g

<Stampverb> hehehe

<Janet> LOL on the crisco

<BlackCats> lol cindy

<pmstamper> lol, crisco resist, bad idea in this area--roaches being the state bird and all.

<BlackCats> lol

<CindyC> lol pm

<fab> Does that work with dye or pigment ink?

<Jambalaya> know what else, when you bite off more than you can chew, you have to prioritize

<CindyC> prolly die

<Janet> we have a new rule in this house. do not bring your bugs inside.

<Stampverb> or Chicken Fat resist

<Janet> Chicken Fat! that was part of the JFK fitness thang, wasn't it?

<Jambalaya> it does not pay to try to work on 3 things at once<g>

<fab> Candle resist does not bring bugs

<evo> Speaking of bugs ... I save two GA bumblebees yesterday :}>

<CindyC> i am always biting off more than i can chew

<Janet> go you chicken fat, go away

<Janet> how did you save the bees, evo?

* CindyC is hungry and yall are teasing her

<fab> I had a song called chicken fat once

<CindyC> they used to play that durring gym class

<fab> I think it was an exercise thing

<evo> lol, janet ... they got into our house within two hours of each other

<Vyx> hungry for chicken fat?

<Stampverb> how about ironing strips of bacon onto glossy -- get a resist pattern AND fixins for a BLT!

<cak> lol

<Vyx> oh no....

<Janet> they played the chicken fat song over the PA every morning when I was in primary school. it was an exercise song

<fab> two in one, lol

<cak> multi-tasking for sure

<Stampverb> ok, that's my last fake idea

<CindyC> lol

<joy> you know the minds in this chat room are truely amazing

<evo> Mr Evo told me of the first one, and he was running to get the RAID :{<>

<pmstamper> lol

<Janet> oooo Verb! excellent idea!!!

<Jambalaya> joy, don't get scared honey<g>

<Stampverb> I dare you Janet

<Stampverb> sorry, Joy

<Janet> and you said NO! that will fertilize our peach trees!

<joy> it's amazing we ever have a block

<Janet> or uh not fertilize, but pollenate

* Stampverb slinks to the corner and dons dunce cap

<cak> I have to admit my mouth/fingers work better than my creativity sometimes (often)

<evo> I said, "Wait!" And I picked up the nearest thing to me, a stamped card... nuzzled it toward him in the window, banging his little head trying to get out...

<Janet> Verb? do the bacon resist then stamp slices of tomato on top for color

<Stampverb> lol

<Janet> or not stamp. smash 'em.

<evo> He climbed on it and I carried him to the door. He flew to freedom.

<Janet> like the smashed flower tech

<fab> wow

<joy> ya you can pund veggies like flowers

<Stampverb> I should submit that to VSN--Bacon Resist for the busy Chief Cook and Stamper

<CindyC> i can honestly say that i know what would help me to avoid a LOT of stamper block times would be to put this darned computer upstairs out of the studio!

<joy> pound

<Janet> wow, evo. you are an inspiration and a joy

<Janet> LOL do it, verb!!

<evo> When Cevo told me a couple of hours later about the 2nd bumble bee in the den...

<Janet> sign it Verbalicious

<BlackCats> lol cindy

<Stampverb> Evo, as a former beekeeper, I thank ya

<evo> I yelled, "NO FEAR! STAMPED CARD IS HERE!"

<CindyC> i think you should write an entire column along that line verb.. a little stress relief for artists

<Janet> LOL

<Stampverb> yep

<BlackCats> computers do compete with stamping when in the studio

<evo> And, lol ... he jumped onto the card, I took him to the door and he flew to freedom, too. :}>

<Stampverb> I would submit it as the "Best of Cyberstampers"

<joy> ya Verb you need to be writing a column for a mag!

<Janet> you BEE a hero, evo

<pmstamper> lol, good job evo.

<Janet> forgit the mag, put it in the newsletter

<Stampverb> good idea Janet

<Stampverb> will do

<fab> A hero medal for evo

<evo> I luv the flying critters ... unless it's a flying roack

<evo> roach

<Janet> you were hired for your writing skills, ya know. so show 'em off. :)

<fab> We could stamp her one on those

<Stampverb> Evo is your snail mail addy on yer web site?

<cak> the best way for me to stop banging my head against the block wall is to just practice my skills (iow play)

<evo> yes, Verb, it is

<Stampverb> k

<evo> at evolving-images.com

<BlackCats> yep, play sessions are great for breaking stamper's block

<evo> I think, lol

<Janet> the new addy, evo?

<evo> I think so...

<Janet> cool

<BlackCats> tarotmama is always stressing the importance of play

<evo> 100 Suburban Dr Kennesaw GA 30144-2244 why?

<joy> I think I have more of Janet's over abundance of ideas then blocks

<fab> I got out some new paints I had wanted to try this week.

<Jambalaya> yep, play with no expected results

<BlackCats> she suggests playing with new stamps and products before you put them away with your other stuff

<Janet> the class she taught on playing was one of the best classes I've ever sat in

<fab> I've had them for 4 or 5 months untouched.

<BlackCats> yes, it was janet

<Stampverb> I wanna send you a Medal of Bee Freedom

<evo> Awwwwwwwww, Verb

<Vyx> Oh, Evo... you should get Mavis tomorrow maybe. :)

<BlackCats> ah, you gotta get them out and play with them fab...soon!

<evo> Awrite, Vyx!

<fab> I did, this week

<Janet> what kind of paint?

* Vyx has her own medal of bee freedom... it's the allergy to bee stings, lol.

<fab> By Jacquard

<CindyC> yep. play is key. and i love to play with new items before hearing how others use them. it is freedom at its best

<BlackCats> a lot of times just playing with something will get you great results you couldn't get by intentionally trying

<fab> and now I can't remember the name

<Jambalaya> lumieres?

<fab> Yes, ty

<Janet> those are gorgeous

<BlackCats> oh, you'll love the lumieres, fab

* Jambalaya loves lumieres<g>

<Janet> oh and fun to peel off your fingertips

<BlackCats> they are one of my favorite mediums

<fab> Even tried mixing some colores and shading

<Janet> excellent!

<pmstamper> : ( I lost some lumieres. Have no idea where they are.

<Jambalaya> janets get more on fingers than on paper<g>

<BlackCats> lol

<Jambalaya> lost???

<Janet> because I like to peel it off

<pmstamper> took them to scrapbook store, and don't know if they came home or not.

<joy> I bet Janet use to do that with glue in school too

<BlackCats> oh, I accidentally came up with something neat with lumieres

* Jambalaya faints

<evo> Bummer, Pat

<fab> Messed up one piece by not giving it time to dry completely

<Janet> and did you know that after you peel the paint offa your fingertips, you can mince it up fine, then use it like chunky glitter

* pmstamper runs for the smelling salts

<Jambalaya> safe bet joy

<BlackCats> the bottle was just about empty and I turned it upside down then forgot about it

<Janet> I did, sandy. ate the paste, too<g>

<CindyC> that explains a lot

<Janet> LOL

<Jambalaya> doesn't it?

<CindyC> smile

<BlackCats> when I opened it up quite some time later all the paint had dripped to the cap and I was about to peel out a perfect circle of really neat colors

<joy> they need new labels on glue for kids then

<CindyC> but who didn't?

<Janet> oh cool!!

<Janet> well, exactly. just some of us admit it.

<Janet> the cool among us admit it.<g>

<fab> They do have wonderful colors and shimmer

<BlackCats> yep

<CindyC> my little boy stamped a fish at school today! you know stamped with a real fish! i am so proud of his teacher. †

<Janet> so what are you going to do with your perfect circle of lumiere medallion?

<joy> hey BC we could pour a little into a cap and let it dry...

<pmstamper> cool--what'd you do with it BC?

<Stampverb> or pour into little flat candy molds

<BlackCats> right now it's in my do-dads drawer waiting for the perfect spot

<evo> Hooray for the teacher, CC!

<Jambalaya> might not come outta the candy mold

<joy> even better verb, great shapes

<BlackCats> yeah, it would tend to stick on candy molds

<Stampverb> dunno Jam i have never made molded candy--just seen the molds in M-store

<Jambalaya> lumiere sticks to non porous surfaces really well<g>

<joy> try some armoral if you don't use them for food

<CindyC> put some glycerine in first

<CindyC> bet that would work

<evo> I gotta go... has been fun!

<evo> And, Janet?

<Stampverb> joy I read that as "amoral" lol

<pmstamper> nite evo.

<CindyC> great seeing ya evo

<Jambalaya> bye evo

<Janet> yeah?

<cak> how about some mica powders as release?

<evo> I've got my booth ready ... really innovative

<Janet> oooo that would be cool

<CindyC> for where evo?

<Janet> send it to me, evo

<evo> and trying not to get anal about it

<Janet> NOW
