<Jambalaya> hi everyone

<Jambalaya> janet!!!

<BlackCats> yes! ty

<Regina> Hi Jam

<Janet> yikes!!

<Janet> my mind was an hour off!!

<BlackCats> lol

<Jambalaya> yikes whut????

<Judy> so were some others

<Janet> I thought I had another hour

<Jambalaya> lol

<Jambalaya> hi star

<Jambalaya> well ya don't, put on yer tap shoes and dance woman

<Janet> so, uh, all my pretty illustrations on these concepts? you can have those on a nice page later this evening.

<cak> lol

* Janet DANCES

<Star> hi, I have been looking at all the great vendor deals

<Janet> TONS OF GREAT DEALS!

<cak> (and we have another 2 days to shop 'em this time! YaY!)

* Jambalaya throws live crawfish at janets feet

<Janet> ANYWAYS, Y'ALL NEEDED A POTTY BREAK ANYWAY, RIGHT?

<BlackCats> great! star

<Julie> lol Jam!

<Janet> I'M DANCIN AS FAST AS I CAN!!

<Jambalaya> pinch pinch

<Star> I am reporting Jam to the cruelty to animal commission

<Janet> THIS IS A BASIC LECTURE CLASS, BUT IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY OR ADD, I HOPE YOU WILL DO SO. I DON'T NEED SILENCE.

<Janet> IN FACT, I GET SCARED IN SILENCE!

<Star> my dh begs for it

<Jambalaya> ok, i'll just throw them in the boiling pot, and eat the evidence

<cak> (a common reaction in mothers, apparently)

<Janet> I'LL HELP, JAMS!

<Star> no, you cruel woman

<Jambalaya> yummmmmmm

<BlackCats> lol

<Janet> NOW I'M HUNGRY FOR CRAWFISH. I MAY HAVE TO GO SHOP FOR SOME AFTER CLASS

<Janet> ANYWAY...

<Star> amazing what happens to people when they stamp

<Janet> GETTING MY MIND OFF FOOD FOR A MINUTE (NOT EASY!)... THIS IS A BASIC LAYOUT CLASS.

<Jambalaya> cool

<Janet> IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU'RE MAKING... A SCRAPBOOK PAGE, OR A CARD DESIGN OR AN ALTERED BOOK PAGE... YOU NEED TO FOLLOW SOME BASIC DESIGN PRINCIPLES

<Jambalaya> ok, lets settle....what am i saying, janet likes rowdy classes

<cak> lol

<Janet> FOR SURE, I DON'T WANT Y'ALL TO BE STICK STILL. ESPECIALLY IN THIS ONE, SINCE IT'S LECTURE STYLE

<Janet> IF YOU DON'T TALK I'LL KNOW YOU'RE SLEEPING

<Janet> OR SHOPPING

<Julie> I'm eating--pizza rolls :)

<cak> (sleeping bad, shopping good)

<Star> ok, lay the concepts on ys

* Phyl puts a stink bomb in Janet's podium

<Janet> OKAY!!

<ab> Maybe I am, its night here in Norway

* Jambalaya snatches julies pizza rolls

<Janet> NOW YOU CAN GET A WHOLE COLLEGE DEGREE IN LAYOUT AND DESIGN... SO I'M NOT GONNA TEACH YOU ALL THERE IS TO KNOW.

<Jambalaya> hi joy

<Julie> I'll share Jam, don't get pushy!

<cak> *please* get me started though. I neeeeed a starting point

<Janet> WE'RE GOTTA HIT THE HIGH POINTS. IF YOU WANT A DEGREE IN LAYOUT, YOU'RE JUST GONNA HAVE TO GET IT AT A UNIVERSITY

<Jambalaya> too late all gone

<BlackCats> I'm eating a spinach & feta pie

<BlackCats> ymmmmmm

<StampaDee> Looks like I got back just in time

<BlackCats> wb stampadee

<Janet> LAYOUT. DOWN AND DIRTY, IN 40 MINUTES OR LESS<G>

<Julie> I see that Jam! Shame on you.

<Janet> AND TRULY, THE REALLY EASIEST WAY IS TO DEVELOP A GOOD SENSE OF DESIGN WITHIN YOURSELF.

<cak> alright! right at my ability to focus

<Janet> I AM GOING TO ENCOURAGE YOU ALL TO START COLLECTING DESIGNS YOU LIKE

<Janet> CARD DESIGNS, PAGE DESIGNS, WHATEVER DESIGNS...

<Janet> KEEP A NOTEBOOK AND MAKE SKETCHES OF THE DESIGNS YOU LIKE

<StampaDee> off topic - I've got enchiladas in the oven, but because this convention has kept me away from my housework for the last three days, i may have to eat it with a dirty fork right out of the pan.

<Julie> lol

<Janet> OR KEEP A BOOKMARK FILE FOR WEB PAGES YOU LIKE

<Janet> THEY'RE BEST THAT WAY, DEE.

<Janet> START WORKING ON YOUR SENSE OF DESIGN BY USING YOUR THREE EYES!

<Julie> 3?

<cak> (I think I poked by third one out already)

<Phyl> I'm ahead of the game, I have four

<BlackCats> lol

<Janet> THREE. VISUALeyes ... CRITICeyes ... ANALYeyes

<Phyl> what language is that Janet?

<Janet> OR VISUALIZE, CRITICIZE AND ANALYZE

<Janet> JANET'S VISUAL LANGUAGE. I THINK OF THIS BEST AS THREE EYES

<Julie> I flunked in all three then

<Phyl> oops read that last one wrong

<Cher> you had me really worried on that last one for a minute

<Janet> LOL I ALMOST HAD THAT AS ANALeyes BUT WELL, YOU KNOW<G>

<cak> lol

<StampaDee> eeeeks!

<scout> Layout is one of my beginning problems. I have all sorts of ideas, but when I go to plan the card, my mind goes blank.

<Janet> NO SCOPE TALK ALLOWED<G>

<StampaDee> i KNOW i don't have one of those!

<Burning_u> Ok....the visual

<scout> After I've made one card, then I can usually do different things from there. It's just getting started.

<Janet> THEN SCOUT, LET'S START WITH YOUR COLLECTION OF CARD/PAGE/WEB DESIGNS YOU THINK WORK WELL

<scout> my collection??? she says with a raised eyebrow?

<Janet> FIRST VISUALeyes... EXAMINE EACH ONE AND THINK WHAT WORKS WELL? WHAT DOESN'T WORK?

<Janet> YOUR COLLECTION YOU'RE STARTING AS SOON AS THIS CLASS IS OVER<G>

<scout> Oh, Janet, as you well know I gots thousands of stuffs in my collection. It/s just making up my mind

<Janet> CRITICeyes ... SEPARATE THE GOOD FROM THE BAD. ELEMENTS THAT WORK. ELEMENTS THAT DON'T.

<Janet> AND DON'T FORGET THE ANALYeyes ... FIGURING OUT WHY WHAT WORKS DOES WORK, AND WHY WHAT DOESN'T WORK WELL, HOW DID IT FAIL?

<Janet> ESPECIALLY WITH A MULTI-ELEMENT LAYOUT, THERE'S ALWAYS A DANGER THAT BITS WORK WELL, BUT YOU EITHER NEVER NOTICE OR DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO OTHER PARTS OF IT

<Janet> AND THOSE OTHER PARTS YOU NEEED TO FIGURE OUT WHY THEY DIDN'T GRAB YOUR ATTENTION

<Janet> SO START DOING THAT, OKAY?

<scout> True. I see someone else's stuff using similar things and they've carried it some steps farther than I thought of.

<Janet> TAKE THE PLEDGE. I WILL USE MY THREE EYES.

<Janet> DO YOU ALL SWEAR?

<Burning_u> I WILL use my 3 eyes

<scout> Well, hope my eye doc. can find that other one!

<Burning_u> I swear

<Janet> YAY!

<Phyl> Hey I am a good girl, I never swear

<Janet> I'D TELL YA WHERE IT IS, SCOUT, BUT UH NAWWWW.<G>

<Janet> SHARO! WELCOME

<StampaDee> i promise

<Julie> I swear too

<Burning_u> Oooooooooooooo

<BlackCats> wb sharo

<Sharo> thanks

<scout> same place yours is, Janet???

<Janet> CATCHING YOU UP FAST, WE'RE ALL PROMISING TO EXAMINE THE CARD DESIGNS, PAGE LAYOUTS, WEB PAGES WHERE WE THINK THE DESIGNS WORK WELL

<Janet> LOL YES!

<Star> so, we say like, " All these I don't like are just too busy...too many elements fighting", right?

<Janet> AND EXAMINING THEM TO TRY AND FIGURE OUT WHY WHAT WORKS DOES WORK, AND WHAT GETS IGNORED ISN'T AS SUCCESSFUL

<Janet> A LOT OF TIMES, YES, EXACTLY

<Janet> AND THEN THERE ARE A LOT OF CARDS WHERE I THINK "HOW NICE" AND YAWN

<Janet> PERFECTLY PRETTY, BUT NOT EXCITING

<scout> Or you think....geez, too much stuff on there.

<Janet> OR NOT ENOUGH. OR ONE ELEMENT SMACK DAB IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PAGE

<scout> Maybe it's the old thing, put stuff on till you are satisfied and then remove one?

<Janet> MAYBE.

<Janet> I DO HAVE SOME PRINCIPLES THAT MAY HELP WITH THE THINKING, TOO

<scout> like with jewelry

<Janet> DESIGNS SHOULD BALANCE

<Janet> BALANCE IS A KEY WORD

<Janet> YOU CAN HAVE A SYMMETRICAL BALANCE... THAT'S ALWAYS SAFE

<scout> such as?

<Janet> IT'S COMFORTABLE. IT CAN ALSO BE BORING.

<cak> very formal though

<Janet> SUCH AS THAT ONE ELEMENT SMACK DAB IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PAGE

<Janet> <YAWN>

<Julie> are you making fun of my stuff Janet?!! <gg>

<Janet> NOW SOMETIMES, DEPENDING ON YOUR SUBJECT, A FORMAL SYMMETRICAL DESIGN IS EXACTLY WHAT IS CALLED FOR

<Janet> LOL, AND MAKNG FUN OF MY OWN STUFF, TOO!!

<Janet> SYMMETRICAL IS SAFE AND EASY.

<Janet> THREE ELEMENTS ARRANGED PRECISELY BALANCED IN A SYMMETRICAL WAY

<Janet> WHERE ONE HALF OF THE CARD LOOKS LIKE THE MIRROR IMAGE OF THE OTHER HALF

<Janet> I'M NOT SAYING THIS IS BAD

<joy> so you are balancing top to bottom or side to side on a card right?

<Janet> SOMETIMES THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT YOUR SUBJECT CALLS FOR

<scout> Sometimes that does look nice and appeals to the recipient

<Janet> YES, JOY. EITHER/OR BOTH

<Janet> AND SOMETIMES IT APPEALS TO YOU MOST

<Janet> MOST OF ALL FIND YOUR OWN SENSE OF DESIGN PREFERENCE AND KNOW THAT

<Janet> BUT DON'T AUTOMATICALLY REJECT AN ASYMMETRICAL BALANCE

<scout> Do you wonder how many of the people that we send our great "masterpieces", complicated collage, etc. really appreciate the art involved or would have been appier with a simpler card?

<scout> happier

<Janet> ASYMMETRY IS MORE EDGY, CAN BE MORE EXCITING, CAN JUST BE JARRING

<Janet> I DON'T LIKE TO THINK ABOUT IT<G>

<scout> I remember when I first saw heavily collaged cards, I thought "what are they going for?"

<Burning_u> or whet happens to it after they get it <shudder>

<Janet> BUT YOU STILL NEED A BALANCE. EVEN IF YOU HAVE THESE THREE ELEMENTS HERE ON THIS SIDE, AND THIS ONE HEAVIER ELEMENT ON THE OTHER SIDE, YOU NEED A BALANCE

<Janet> A GOOD DESIGN SENSE WILL HELP Y'ALL DEVELOP COLLAGES, TOO

<Janet> I'M GOING TO SAY HEAVIER AND LIGHTER... I DON'T NECESSARILY MEAN HOW THEY WEIGH ON THE SCALE

<Janet> OR HOW DARK OR LIGHT THE COLOR IS

<scout> Do you feel that more of a card should be covered, rather than having so much dead unstamped space with the stuff in the middle?

<Janet> DEPENDS ON YOUR DESIGN, SCOUT. BUT ALWAYS REMEMBER AND NEVER FORGET...

<Janet> DEAD UNSTAMPED SPACE, OR WHITE SPACE (EVEN IF YOUR CARDSTOCK IS BLUE<G>) IS AN ELEMENT TOO

<scout> ok

<Janet> YOUR WHITE SPACE CAN WORK FOR YOU TO DIRECT THAT EYE MOVEMENT THAT WORKS IN A GOOD DESIGN

<joy> so if you get edgy with unsymetrical, then maybe tone down the colors?

<Janet> YOU DON'T HAVE TO BLEED ELEMENTS OFF THE PAGE, WHITE SPACE CAN MAKE THINGS WORK

<Janet> THERE ARE SEVERAL WAYS TO CONTROL YOUR WEIGHT OF ELEMENTS.. COLOR IS A GOOD ONE

<Janet> ALSO SIZE

<Janet> POSITION

<Janet> SHAPE

<Janet> A LOT OF THINGS GO INTO HOW HEAVY AN ELEMENT IS IN YOUR DESIGN

<Janet> BUT IF IT JARS YOU, IT PROBABLY NEEDS TO BE MODIFIED

<Janet> YOU WORK WITH CONTRAST

<Janet> NOT JUST IN COLORS, BUT ALSO IN WEIGHT, POSITION, SHAPE, COLOR UH WHAT ELSE? SIZE. YEAH.

<Janet> BUT YOU DO WANT A GOOD CONTRAST USUALLY.

<Janet> NOT ALWAYS BUT USUALLY.

<cak> how about whether it lines up with the other elements or not?

<Janet> NOT THAT A TOTAL SOFT PASTEL LAYOUT DOESN'T WORK

<Janet> LINES UP AS FAR AS POSITION?

<Janet> OR LINES UP AS BEING IN THE SAME AREA OF THE COLOR SPECTRUM?

<Janet> OR AROUND THE SAME SIZE OR SHAPE?

<Janet> (YOU CAN HIT ME JUST ANY TIME NOW<G>)

<Janet> SO MUCH TO THINK ABOUT. SO MANY VARIABLES.

<cak> alignment is what I was thinking

* Stampverb thwaps Janet with a lob-stah

<Janet> GENERALLY YOU WANT HARMONY

<Janet> LOL

<Janet> YEAH, SO POSITION.

<Janet> AND THERE'S A GOOD DESIGN IDEA...

<Janet> LINING UP EVERYTHING EXCEPT ONE ELEMENT

<Janet> HEYA EVO.

<StampaDee> we learned a couple of things in photography design that I try to keep in mind

<Janet> RULE OF THIRDS?

<evo> Heyyyyyy, all :}>

<StampaDee> the eye tends to travel across the page from left to right

<Janet> I USE THAT ALL THE TIME

<StampaDee> Yes - rule of thirds

<Janet> EYE GOES LIKE A Z ACROSS A PAGE

<Stampverb> in the U.S. yes

<Janet> AND GENERALLY WHAT YOU CAN DO TO ENCOURAGE THAT EYE TO MOVE IS A GOOD THING

<StampaDee> but putting something heavy or large and dark in the wrong place can stop the eye

<Janet> OR A BACKWARDS Z

<Janet> YOU CAN USE ELEMENTS TO HELP DIRECT THE EYE, KEEP IT MOVING

<Stampverb> in my case, like ric-rac

<Janet> A DRAPING FEATHER. RIC-RAC!

<Stampverb> lol

<Janet> RULES. UH I MEAN LINES (WE CALL 'EM RULES IN LAYOUT-TALK)

<Janet> MY STRAY FINGERPRINT ALWAYS STOPS THE EYE MOVEMENT COLD.

<Janet> THINK ABOUT MOVEMENT

<StampaDee> also - if something about the design is off, but you can't figure out what - hold it upside down, look away and then back at it. Whatever jumps out at you first could very well be what isn't working

<Janet> AND BALANCE

<Janet> AND CONTRAST

<Janet> THAT'S A GREAT ONE!

<Janet> WHEN YOU TURN STUFF UPSIDE DOWN, YOU SEE YOUR LAYOUT MORE THAN YOUR ELEMENTS.

<Janet> THAT'S IMPORTANT TO FIGURE OUT IF YOUR COMPOSITION IS WORKING

<Janet> OR LEAN WAY BACK IN YOUR CHAIR AND SQUINT AT IT

<joy> I'm a little confused how you can go for contrast and get harmony

<evo> or look at it in a mirror

<Janet> OR LOOK AT IT IN THE DARK

<StampaDee> lol

<Lynn> that was worth the price of admission!!

<scout> Try doing that in the mirrow when youre going to an important event.

<Janet> YOU USE A BALANCE OF CONTRAST AND HARMONY TO ACHIEVE BALANCE

<StampaDee> how dark???

<Janet> DARK ENOUGH TO OBSCURE THE INDIVIDUAL ELEMENTS, BUT LIGHT ENOUGH TO JUST MAKE OUT THE LAYOUT

<Janet> BACK TO THE CONTRAST/HARMONY THANG...

<Janet> PERHAPS YOU IDENTIFY AND CREATE YOUR FOCAL POINT BY MAKING ALL THE ELEMENTS HARMONIOUS IN TONE OR SHAPE... AND THEN CHANGE THE SHAPE OR THE TONE OF THE ONE ELEMENT

<cak> (think of music? good harmony has more than one note--contrast, but they sound good together--harmony)

<Janet> LIKE MY ONE FISH LAST NIGHT

<Janet> YES, SO A HARMONIOUS BLEND OF CONTRASTING ELEMENTS

<Janet> HAVE I JUST FUZZED Y'ALL?

<Janet> OR IS ANY OF THIS MAKING SENSE?

<StampaDee> no - i get it

<cak> it is, it's just hard to pull it all together

<Janet> OH. DEE. TELL ABOUT THE RULE OF THIRDS. I USE THAT ONE SO MUCH, ESPECIALLY IN PLACEMENT OF MY FOCAL ELEMENT

<evo> lt makes sense

<StampaDee> divide your paper into thirds horizontally or vertically

<Janet> (OR BOTH)

<StampaDee> and then balance from there

<StampaDee> that way it's never right in half

<StampaDee> like - you never want to put a horizon right thru the middle of a picture

<StampaDee> put it along the top or bottom third line

<Janet> IF YOU FOLD YOUR PAPER IN THIRDS ONE WAY, THEN FOLD IT IN THIRDS THE OTHER WAY, THERE ARE FOUR POINTS WHERE THE "NOT IN THE MIDDLE" LINES INTERSECT

<Janet> THOSE ARE GOOD PLACES TO PUT YOUR FOCAL POINT

<StampaDee> and put a tree along the left or right third line

<Janet> PERZACTLY!

<StampaDee> no in the center

<StampaDee> not

<StampaDee> unless you want your tree in the middle :)

<Janet> IN THE CENTER TENDS TO DIVIDE YOUR COMPOSITION IN HALF AND IT FALLS APART IN HALF

<Janet> AND YEAH, IF YOU WANT YOUR TREE IN THE MIDDLE, YOU USE OTHER WAYS TO BALANCE THE TOTAL COMPOSITION

<StampaDee> boy - photog. lessons have never felt so long ago and far away and when I was trying to explain that! I coulda done better with the inverse square law

<Janet> LOL! I KNOW!

<Janet> THE THINGS I'VE FORGOTTEN SINCE SCHOOL<G>

<StampaDee> yeah!

<Janet> ALSO, YA KNOW, YOU ONLY HAVE TO FOLD THAT PAPER IN THIRDS ONCE.

<Janet> AFTER THAT IT'S A PART OF HOW YOU SEE AND PLACE THINGS

<Janet> YOU GENERALLY DON'T THINK "BALANCE. CONTRAST. HARMONY. VARIETY." WHEN YOU'RE MOVING ELEMENTS AROUND ON A PAGE EITHER

<Janet> IT'S A PART OF WHAT BECOMES PLEASING TO YOU

<Janet> AND THAT'S THE BOTTOM LINE, COMING UP WITH COMPOSITIONS THAT PLEASE YOU

<Janet> THAT ILLUSTRATE YOUR MESSAGE

<Janet> OKAY FOLKS. WAKE UP.

<StampaDee> i'm still here

<evo> i yam

<Janet> I WANT A REPORT ON HOW CONFUSED, OR NOT CONFUSED YOU ARE HERE.

<Stampverb> me 2

<ab> still here

<scout> me,too

<Judy> me also

<Star> I like it, go on

<Julie> i'm here

<Janet> ANY QUESTIONS, COMMENTS, OBSERVATIONS?

<Janet> YOU GOT YOUR THREE EYES LOCATED AND ON ALERT?

<evo> Yes!

<Cher> yes

<anno> I am all eyes.

* evo waving & waving

<Julie> sure

<cak> I kinda feel like I have a lot of elements, but am hanving trouble putting them all together

<anno> i dunno where I'm looking,

<Regina> Folding a piece of paper in 3rds will be useful.

<anno> but that all eyes thing must amount to at least 3587 thousand.

<anno> eyes.

<Julie> that's why we hoard cak!

<evo> I was late, Janet... could you start over?????

<StampaDee> lol

<ab> nope, have to try out what you said, so the q. comes later:)

<Judy> lol

<Star> sometimes I make myself work in a color combo that I don't love....what happens is it often improves my composition

* anno moves over to sit beside evo

<Janet> ANNO, CONCENTRATE ON THREE EYES. VISUALeyes. CRITICeyes. ANALYeyes

* Stampverb bops evo with a live lob-stah

<Janet> AND EVALUATE THE LAYOUTS OR COMPOSITIONS YOU RUN ACROSS. IN A CARD, ON A PAGE, ON THE WEB

<anno> oh.. heh.. I'm sorry.. this is just too poppsych for me.. rofl.

<Judy> and Evo just came out with a perfect layering tool to avoid those crooked layers that are so distracting

* anno goes and shares some pickles with evo

<joy> btw, that is the greatest tool

<Janet> AND HEY! YOU WANT A GOOD DESIGN FOR A CARD? FIND A GOOD WEB PAGE YOU LOVE THE DESIGN OF. COPY THAT DESIGN.

<anno> :)

<anno> that I can do.

<StampaDee> I don't have any Evo templates :(

<Judy> I wind up looking at those instead of focal point

* deb has lots of evo templates

<Julie> Evo's next Dee, there's still time to get some :)

<Janet> OR IF YOU'RE STUCK WITH A WEB DESIGN, PICK UP THE LATEST RAK YOU GOT AND COPY THAT DESIGN

* Janet WON'T ADMIT TO DOING THAT, BUT SHE DOES

<StampaDee> yeah!

<Julie> I just copy all of our great vendors here!

<evo> Dee, you would luv them

<Julie> and teachers...

<StampaDee> i know i would!

<Janet> I STEAL DESIGNS FROM EVERYWHERE!

<anno> they're useful for all sorts of things in addition to the things they were intended to be useful for.

<Janet> OH. REMEMBER MY FISH PAGE FROM LAST NIGHT? THAT WAS AN ASYMMETRICAL DESIGN.

<Star> from Renoir, Monet, and other greats

<anno> I missed the fish page.

<Janet> WITH A HARMONY IN SHAPE

<joy> I have heard if you copy something exactly you will not be happy with it becasue you have to put something from "you" in it

<Judy> some commercial cards have great designs you can replicate

<Janet> http://www.cyberstampers.com/class/janet/diva

<anno> oooh.. what lovely fish...

<StampaDee> all that rule of thirds talk still has the inverse square law stuck in my head - which is dumb cuz it has nothing to do with composition.

<Janet> WELL, WHEN YOU COPY A WEB PAGE FOR A CARD DESIGN, TRUST ME, IT AIN'T GONNA BE EXACT!

<StampaDee> its just the only thing from college i remember with absolute clarity!

<Janet> ANNO, LOOK, THERE'S LIKE A CURVE IN EACH FISH ILLUSTRATION THAT CURVES TOWARDS THE TEXT

<Lynn> i may start out copying but there

<cak> one of the things that helps me is to do a quick sketch/doodle of the major elements of the thing you're "copying"

<Janet> HARMONY IN SHAPE

<Lynn> is always a change somewhere in the middle!

<Janet> YES! DO THAT THUMBNAIL SKETCH

<anno> lovely web design too!

<Janet> OR IF YOU HAVE A DESIGN YOU DON'T LIKE.. SKETCH IT BUT BLOCKY JUST WITH YOUR ELEMENTS

<anno> was harmonEYES one of those eyes?

<Janet> YOUR DESIGN FLAW MAY JUMP RIGHT OUT AT YOU IN YOUR SKETCH

<Janet> NO, THAT WAS DOWN IN THE NEXT PART.<G>

<anno> rofl

<Janet> LOL

<anno> I forgot which eyes I was using.

<anno> :-P

<Janet> LOL

<Janet> ANY QUICK QUESTIONS?

<joy> ty Janet for making us think and a great class

<Julie> we'll hunt you down when we try it if we do :)

<Julie> Thanks Janet!

<ab> Thanks

<Janet> REMEMBER THE PLEDGE. USE YOUR THREE EYES AND START COLLECTING LAYOUTS YOU LIKE!

<StampaDee> nope - thanks Janet

<Regina> Another great class, Janet. Thanks!

<Janet> THANKS FOR BEING HERE!

<Judy> Thanks, Janet - it was interesting!

<Janet> EVO? WHERE ARE YOU?

<anno> obviously I have 4 eyes now.. what were the 3 I was supposed to bring tonight again?

<Phyl> Very informative Janet thanks

<Judy> Evo in #craftclass next?

<anno> accessorEYES..

<anno> analEYES

<Janet> RUN TO EVOeyes IN #craftclass NOW!

<anno> that was the one that raised my hackles.. rofl.

<joy> visualize, criticize and analyze
