<Phyl> IT IS AMAZING HOW ATTACHED WE GET TO OUR ANIMALS

<BlackCats> awww, but our pets provide so much love

<Nana> We had to my little dog, Ed, to sleep last New Year's Eve. He had cancer plus was going blind and losing his hearing too. He was 13.

<robin> like kids, but more cuddly

<BlackCats> yep

<Lynn> I got another dog but I can't get attached the way i was with my last one

<Momma> and they give you unconditional love

<Millie> my older dog was Linda's boyfriend......lol

<kritterlo> I had him for 14 years..he was my constant companion

<Nana> Same here, Lynn]

<scout> I had to put my 20 year old kitty down last summer.

<robin> ouch

<Phyl> YUP MY CHARLIE WAS WITH US FOR 16 YEARS

<Aftermidn> I hope my kitty lives to be 20.

<kritterlo> it is sad...but thank goodness we have these fur babies in our lives

<BlackCats> awww, it is always sad to say goodbye

<Phyl> SOME LIVE A LOT LONGER THAN THAT LINDA

<Momma> that's so true

<Millie> I had my Pancho for 20 yrs. also

<BlackCats> but remember also how happy it is to say hello

<Stampverb> thanks for the great class, Phyl

<robin> here, here

<Phyl> YOUR WELCOME VERB

<Stampverb> and thanks for being here too, Linda

<Phyl> GLAD YOU ENJOYED IT

<Momma> yes, thanks Phyl, it was really interesting

<scout> Of course, we run out and get another, not that they will replace the one we lost, but because of the love that we got from the old one is missed.

<Aftermidn> Pancho was my boyfriend. We did a taco run with him one night. He loved it.

<Aftermidn> I don't think those two stamps are on the website. Send me an email and I can tell you the price and add them to your order.

<Jambalaya> nite lynn

<zeborah> I did use some distress ink today though- dirtied up a box I was working on

<BlackCats> great

<Phyl> i think i picked those up at the convention Linda

<Julie> ok, thanks Linda

<zeborah> there are a LOT of stamps not on the webstie yet.

<Phyl> see Linda has some stuff that you haven't even seen yet keep checking her web site

<zeborah> I should post some of the new plates on the amstamps yahoo list

<BlackCats> ah, just giving us teases, huh <G>

<Phyl> lol

<zeborah> The new fantasy butterflies re to die for. *sigh*

<Phyl> aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah sob

<Stampverb> Linda, I cannot recall--do you have a section of "new stamps?" or "new products?"

<BlackCats> oooooh, are those on the website?

<zeborah> you can order them from Linda even if they aren't onthe webstie

<joy> woke BC right up there

<Phyl> oh oh Zeb has her work cut out for her now

<BlackCats> lol, yep

<Aftermidn> We don't have a section for "new" stuff, but I guess we should. Okay, Zeb, .....

<zeborah> if any of you aren't on the amstamps yahoo group- join up and I can preview the new stamps for ya. :)

<BlackCats> I may have a hard time picking what I want to get first <G>

<Phyl> yes join Linda's yahoo group lots of useful information there

<BlackCats> oooh, that sounds good zeborah

<zeborah> Hey Linda- good plan- just add a NEW catagory for the most reent plates

<Stampverb> zeb, what is the addy for the Yahoo group?

<Phyl> http://groups.yahoo.com/group/amstamps/

<zeborah> Let me get it...

<zeborah> that's it. :) thanks

<Stampverb> ty

<Phyl> nanana beat ya

<Phyl> lol

<Stampverb> I find it is Soooo convenient to have a "new stuff" section on a website--otherwise, hard to know where to looko

<BlackCats> lol

<zeborah> Linda- are we carrying the 'Distress inks now?

<Aftermidn> Yes, they're on the website. I put them in the shopping cart today.

<zeborah> cool- I think I'm starting to like them :)

<joy> nite, going a looking

<Jambalaya> nite joy

<Jambalaya> sweet dreams

<zeborah> nite

<cak> Night joy, have fun

<Phyl> i didn't like them until i started to play with them now i love them

<Phyl> nighte joy

<Jambalaya> ya like i said, they have their uses<g>

<BlackCats> oh? that's good to hear

<zeborah> I just used them on a non paper piece for the first time today- they worked really well

<BlackCats> I've been a bit hesitant to get them

<zeborah> I like the way they blend out with water

<Phyl> i was too but you can use them for all kinds of stuff

<Jambalaya> monica, you'd like the lavendar one

<zeborah> ooh- lavender?? I need that one!

<BlackCats> lol, that's a given <G>

<zeborah> I tried applying them with a damp sponge and it worked great

<Phyl> and when i did this class i only had three pads

<BlackCats> and the fired brick looks very tempting too

<Phyl> now I have to get them all

<Phyl> the fried brick is great wonderful color

<Phyl> and they brayer sooooo nice

<zeborah> I only have the subdued earthy colors so far

<BlackCats> yep, your samples are beautiful

<Phyl> because they stay wet a bit longer

<Jambalaya> ya, actually the newer 6 colors are the ones i like best

<BlackCats> what about the yellow one? y'all like that one too?

<Phyl> You have Tim Holtz new book Linda?

<Aftermidn> Yes, sure do and it's on the website.

<Phyl> have you checked it out?

<Jambalaya> hmmmm i haven't actually used the yellow one yet

<Phyl> i bet it is awesome

<zeborah> I haven't tried the yellow- but I've seen stuff done with it. Much more impressive than I would have thought. It's a great color

<BlackCats> red, yellow and lavender are the ones I think I'd like the most

<Jambalaya> and blue

<Jambalaya> you need the blue too

<BlackCats> lol

<Phyl> the peeled paint is a really good one too Monica

<BlackCats> uh huh

<Phyl> lol heck might as well get them all

<Jambalaya> ya peeled paint is the blue

<Phyl> lol

<zeborah> ...What color is peeled paint. ???

<BlackCats> y'all sure I don't need them all? <G>

<Phyl> green

<zeborah> ok- blue lol

<Phyl> i colored the lilly leaves with it

<Jambalaya> oh ya wait, peeled paint is green

<Jambalaya> weathered something is the blue

<zeborah> green would be good too...

<zeborah> They sure come out with good colors

<BlackCats> problem is that I want to get some more of the opals too

<Phyl> and you can mix the colors together too

<Jambalaya> why couldn't they just name them the colors they are???

<BlackCats> money only stretchs so far

<Phyl> lol i hear that one

<BlackCats> rats!

<Phyl> ya my money is screaming it is stretched so tight

<BlackCats> uh huh

<zeborah> how do the colors coordinate with the alcohol inks?

<Phyl> alcohol inks are similar but more countryish colors

<zeborah> I end up trying EVERYTHING with alcohol inks eventually. LOL

<Phyl> but they go well together

<Jambalaya> not so much really, they are more weathered looking than the adirondack colors

<Phyl> they are great fun to play with

<zeborah> The Opals go well with the alcohol inks too. I love having stuff that all works together

<Phyl> yes it makes it fun to play that way

<Jambalaya> lol

<zeborah> do the Distres inks work OVER the Andirondak inks?

<Phyl> thanks for coming guys and thanks linda for making it a fun night

<Jambalaya> it could, ya
